Business trip to Grand Rapids area and Muskegon. A great late afternoon walking the pier at Grand Haven and then I decided to try dinner in Muskegon. I knew this place was my vibe when I first entered- dark, moody with the velvet curtains. My manhattan’s were wonderful and my salad and lasagna was delicious! Exactly what I was looking for.

A Perfect End-of-Summer Celebration
This was our first time visiting Capone’s Speak Easy, and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot to celebrate the end of summer before our kids head back to college. We were looking for a high-end restaurant with exceptional food quality—something on par with our usual go-to, Two Tony’s—but wanted to try something new.
Capone’s absolutely delivered. From the expertly crafted drinks and warm bread service to the flavorful main courses and decadent desserts, every detail was spot-on. The quality of the food and service was outstanding, and the price point felt just right for the experience. We’ll definitely be back!

First time to Capones. We expected a little more gangster decor. He had lasagna which was great. Loved the sauce. She had the fettuccine Alfredo and one meatball. The sauce had little flavor and the plain meatball arrived plopped on top of the dish. A very unappealing presentation. Ate very little of it. Folks nearby had deep dish pizza which looked wonderful. I'd go that route next time and avoid the tasteless Alfredo. I did get a generous pour of Reisling! Server was rushed. Didn't get a warm feeling from the experience.

Although we did expect a little more, the service we received was very good. We ordered the calamari, and most of it seemed to be pepper rings. The Chicken and Shrimp dinner was good but a bit spicy. I enjoyed it. Wife didn't care for the spiciness. The Candied Bacon Old Fashioned was amazing, though!! We'll give it another try, though.

What a great find! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Right away I felt like I went back in time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the decor was amazing. But that's just the beginning. I started with burrata and tomato jam and it was delicious! For main course I tried Sicilian pan pizza and chicken saltimbocca. The food melted in my mouth. I absolutely loved it! Drinks were strong and tiramisu mouth watering. This place is worth the trip! I will definitely come back.
