This was our first time eating here. The food was great and the fries were amazing! The service was good as well. The only issue I have is that the automatic voice response got our order wrong as we had ordered two meals of the same order but only recieved one. Over all, it seems to be a good place to eat especially if you don't mind talking to an Artificial Intelligence.

I have been to this Checkers 3-4 times since recently spending more time in the Muskegon area, and I am always so thoroughly impressed by the individuals working at this location. Each time I’ve been there, there’s no employee vehicles in the parking lot, but inside there is a fully staffed, kind, welcoming, hardworking group of people. Those people are making an effort to get there, choosing a great attitude, treating customers with kindness, smiling, respectful, and giving joy. Not only that, the orders are always correct, the food is always hot, and we never have to wait. All too often we go through drive thrus and are met with less than pleasant attitudes and experiences, but not at this Checkers. I brag about the staff there constantly, and they genuinely should be proud of the quality service they provide. The owner of this location, you are fortunate to have such great staff, and clearly great management running your business. Keep up the great work guys!

I like this Checkers. I've been here twice this past week, Friday night and tonight. Both days I received good food and very friendly service. Even though Both times were late night, I still received fresh fries and great, friendly service. Will definitely come back here when I'm hungry after my 2nd shift.

Visited on 11/01/2025. We spent nearly 75.00 on our meal. The drive thru asked us to pull over to wait. We waited 20 minutes which was excessive. We requested refills on our drinks as we drank them while we waited. The woman assisting claimed she was the manager and refused to refill our drinks. We pointed out that we were missing the fries I paid for. She refused to give us the items I paid for, that were missing. She instead cussed as us and told us to leave. We called corporate and cannot reach the district manager. We will never spend money here again. We advise anyone else to avoid this location.

It was ok. Had a hot dog. The line was slow but steady and the hot dog was good.
Great food notany issues ordering. Just when I got my food one day, a double spicy chicken sandwich to be exact, there was a bone in it.. this is a chicken patty that's processed. I couldn't finish the sandwich and had to throw it out. No longer buying chicken sandwiches from checkers.
- Edit/Update since reply from Checkers: I've reached out to Checkers support per their request, and have not received anything back. No email or Call after leaving their complaint with the company. Couldn't type the complaint due to their site not allowing me to submit one, and when I called the guy on the phone said he would forward it and I would receive a call back. This is concerning as they do not seem to take their food safety seriously. So I have updated my review to one star and their service down to one star as well. As working in the food industry before is makes me a little more upset with how they went about this.
