Great reasonable food. The bathrooms are small and hot so be careful on the entrance ramp.

I had the fish and chips. The flavor of the fish was amazing. Juicy and crispy. Chicken strips not so good. Service is friendly. Atmosphere is very cool

The stereotypical imagery and gross appropriation is repulsive. Sad they couldn’t be successful without playing up the outdated racist American view of natives. From the name Cherokee combined with tipis to the big nosed “Indian” statue, it’s pathetic. They even have a totem pole 🤦♂️
It doesn’t matter the previous owner was “part Cherokee”. There is no excuse for racism, miseducation, or insulting stereotypes. I couldn’t sleep at night if I perpetuated harmful stereotypes for profit.
The food is just simple. Nothing worth your time. Service was very slow. Staff seemed unhappy.

Don't think our server was told she got a table when we arrived. The wait was long, but eventually we taken care of. Enjoyed the food.
But then another over 15 minute wait until we were able to check out. Aside from long waits, she was very kind.

Stood there for 20 mins waiting for a hostess to say hello while most tables were empty. Didn’t get to try the food because the service sucked so much. Will not go there again.

This restaurant is a staple in the community. Service is good and the food is good! The interior could really use some repairs and updates.

My father ate here at the Cherokee Inn in the 40's and 50's growing up and stopped by the restaurant whenever we came back to visit relatives. I was born in and have visited Muskegon several times through the years. I've always received satisfying meals and the staff has always been friendly and courteous.

The food was great. The service was great. However, it took 40 minutes to get two simple breakfasts. If you don't mind the weight, it's worth it.

I ordered the chief omelette and swapped out toast for a pancake. EVERYTHING was yummy and the prices are VERY reasonable for what they give you. They give you big portions. I wish I would have given this place a try sooner. Especially over that awful and scamming Getty Street Grill.
Can't wait to come back.

We stopped at the restaurant not being familiar. The atmosphere was lacking and service was slow. The food was only mediocre and I will not go back.

I went there on a Tuesday. It appeared to be very busy but yet the waitress (I only seen one) was flipping amazing. I don't know how she managed it because I never could do it. Food ok along with the atmosphere. I would go back and hopefully would get the waitress again. Thank you so much. Bless your heart.

Cherokee has the best breakfast in Muskegon and surrounding area.
Always greeted upon entering and seated in a reasonable amount of time.
Waited on quickly and everyone is so friendly.
The food is excellent and always consistent. Tastes like homemade every time.
Wait staff was quick with refills and to check if we needed anything and to make sure we were satisfied. Did not feel rushed to eat.
Prices are incredibly reasonable and the best bang for the buck for breakfast with family, friends, or going to the Lake. Feels like home.
