At 11pm on a Saturday we waited an hour after ordering 2 sundaes and some malts to get our food. There were perhaps 10 tables with people at them, and some were already eating. One lady with 2 kids saw people get their food before her family, even though they arrived after her family. It was a very uncomfortable situation, given Denny's past troubles. I was feeling a little sorry for the waitress, since she was moving quickly when we could see her, and appeared to be one of maybe 3 people working the front end, with 2-3 people running the kitchen. However, right after the lady left w/o getting food, I saw that there were at least 3 more wait staff just standing around. That gave them more than enough people to run the restaurant well at midnight. The food was marginal at best, and after the sundaes were delivered 10 min after the malts, I still had to get up and go find spoons. There were so many issues, we won't go back.

The ONLY reason we come here is because my boyfriend is a vegetarian and you have a veggie burger. It always takes forever for anyone to take our order, then forever again to get our food. The servers are never very friendly and very dismissive. If we could find a good veggie burger anywhere else, we'd never come back......just waited an hour for our food for them to bring out the wrong food.

I don't dine here very often, but I've never had any issue with the food or service on any of my visits. I'm not sure what the cause of all the negative comments is, honestly. Perhaps some of the naysayers should consider treating their servers with some courtesy and respect and the level of service would likely improve.
