Have the most delightful experience here, they had the utmost scrumptious desserts. I had a particularly fine cookie, the young girl that goes by the name Sarah there was very polite and helpful.Would recommend giving here.

Customer service is atrocious. Placed order ahead of time only to wait 20 min for it actually be filled while people stand around. The old guy us rude and the product is mediocre. Never again.

The donuts here are phenomenal, some days they sell out completely before you can even make it there. Even the donut holes are above average. I thought I could save some to eat for the next day and I kept going back for more until they were gone! They also have cookies, muffins, loaves of bread, rolls, and other bakery items. They even had some gluten free items the last time I was there. They have an area with a bunch of neat things you can buy, all local vendors I assume. And then on the other side they have a room that you can sit and enjoy your food and drink. There aren't a ton of seats for that, but I think most people don't stick around anyway. It's a busy place - whenever I go, it's a constant stream of customers in and out of the door. The customer service was just okay, to be honest. But you forget about that once you take a bite of your baked good.

I thought positively of this place until I learned that one of their cookie dough + recipe is stolen from another local business. My friend’s local business. He was caught taking pictures of her recipe book, and he’s stolen her baking equipment and will not let her have it back.Do better owner of Morat's. AND TREAT YOUR STAFF BETTER. PLEASE.***happily editing this to address the defamation comment***Defamation of character is spoken words that are untrue. A false statement being passed off as a fact to destroy a person’s character. However, nothing I said in my review is incorrect. I’m sure you do have a family recipe! You’ve got wonderful stuff. But you also have my friend’s recipe that you were SEEN stealing.Fact: You’ve got my friend’s baking equipment and will not return it to her. Am I wrong there? I am not. If we came to your shop today we’d see her equipment in your kitchen.Fact: You were SEEN stealing the cookie dough out of someone’s car. People saw you do it!Fact: You were SEEN taking photos of my friend’s whole recipe book. If we checked your phone, computer, or any hard drives you have, we’d find pictures of her recipe book.Fact: You treat your employees like GARBAGE and it’s so disgusting. I’m sure we could ask your employees, past and present, about how you treat them and confirm that too. Not to mention the countless customers who’ve witnessed the way you treat your staff.**edit + with new accurate, documented information** Actually, let’s hear about your family recipes. The ones that AREN’T frozen pre-ordered breads and pastries that you flip and pass off as your own.

Very tasty, delicious bake goods! Their bread is by far one of the best breads out there. They even offer gluten free bake goods. If you’re in Muskegon Morats is a must.

Seeing the swift decline of the relationship between Morat’s and The Donut Experience within less than a month of their partnership, it seems as though either the owner or management is not interested in running a business with values rooted in the current century. Going to avoid this one, even if it’s a mainstay, no excuse for mistreating the people who make the product.

The donuts and breads at Morats are top notch! I am never disappointed with baked goods I have purchased here. Lover their creme filled long johns, English muffin bread, and three cheese semolina

After seeing an article about the bakery and the donut shop on MLive, I stopped in. I purchased to chocolate covered long johns and a loaf of English muffin bread... Everything was soooooo delicious! Looking forward to my next visit. ☺️

Wow! Been a few times (only returned for the breakfast sandwich that’s so good) but the owner just stands and glares at customers. Doesn’t speak or anything. It’s the most uncomfortable feeling. Today I witnessed him treat his employees like absolute trash and it was gross. No wonder this guy’s bakery couldn’t stay open due to staffing … can’t keep staff treating them like trash. Bad business.

My partner and I wanted to like this bakery. We made a special trip (40 min drive) to visit it. There was a small selection of items despite us arriving when it opened. The service was unhelpful and we felt like we had to dig to get basic information. Ultimately, the two doughnuts we tried were uninspiring. I was excited for the Reese’s Puffs doughnut, but the cereal on top was soft and the icing was so thick and sugary-sweet, I didn’t get a sense of the dough at all. I’m not sure why this place had high reviews.

We got the cinnamon bread again because last time we came here it was AMAZING. We made the best ever french toast with it this time! Delicious!

They advertise vegan donuts but when I showed up they did not have any. Drove out of the way and to be disappointed.
