Always a must stop when we are in town. Beer is good, and always has Atleast one interesting tap! Food was new when we visited last - was good for bar food!

Nice atmosphere, many beers to try and a somewhat limited food menu. Service was friendly but slow. Our group sampled nearly all the house beer varieties in flights and ordered more of our favorites. We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches for several of us, and one person ordered a Cubano. The sandwiches were good but the only side options were potato chips or potato salad, with a $2 upcharge for potato salad. One person in our group had a Greek salad, and she said it was very good, although the dressing was very vinegary. A nice visit.

Has a bit of a Cheers atmosphere where everyone knows your name. Friendly staff, clean and great beer. Not much more to ask for! Also, if your looking to get any food you need to try the chips and salsa!

Good beer, not so good food.I had Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It was neither hot or Nashville. I even wondered if it was chicken! Perhaps it was pigeon!

Great food! Had the chicken bacon panini and it was awesome! The spinach artichoke dip was great as well. Tried a flight of beers which were pretty good, though I'm not the one you want to ask for beer reviews. Great group of people and repeatedly checked in on us. Nice place!

Rounding this up from 3.5 stars. We started with chips, spicy salsa and pub beer cheese. I loved the spicy salsa but was disappointed by the beer cheese in that it didn't have the beer flavor I was expecting and tasted more like the nacho cheese one gets at the ball park. I had the cranberry chicken salad wrap. Sooooo yummy!! I would love to have this again.Ambiance?? It's a pub, so it's as one would expect going to a brew pub. Service?? Great!! The bartender was able to direct me to an Amber beer I quite enjoyed: Stage 5 ClingerThis Amber Ale is copper in color and uses centennial hops to achieve a pleasing, though not overly bitter, hoppy flavor. This Stage 5 Clinger won't send you 7,000 text messages or call you at 3am, but it will make you want a second pint. ABV: 6%IBU: 45AVAILABILITY: TaproomThe bartender also steered us toward getting the chips, salsa, and beer cheese together because we would get more chips to dip with it. When our chips came from the dregs of the bag, he happily replaced them with properly-sized chips for dipping.Overall, I enjoyed my experience, and I would happily pop back in sometime when I'm back in the area.

I absolutely love this place! The Brewers lounge has such a nice atmosphere with a large inside bar, plenty of seating, and a large patio space. Pro Tip: bring your furry friends to hangout with you on the patio! Kid friendly too! There's ample parking on the side and back of the building. There's also spaces designated for Harvest Host campers! They host a lot of activities such as Run Muskegon, Trivia, and Dart league. The beer menu is always changing so there's always something new to try! The kitchen staff is also excellent. The main menu is wonderful, and their weekly specials are ALWAYS so good. I think my favorite foods have been the panini's and quesadilla. Everything is very customizable for anyone with allergies, dietary restrictions, or just specific tastes! There are also a couple different vodka mixed drinks, a cider or two, non-alcoholic beers, some wines, and sodas for those not into beer! They also open up the Brewhouse sometimes so people can go back and see all of the brewing equipment and canning line. That's where the dart boards are too. 10/10 if you're in Muskegon, it's gotta be on your go-to list!

I had a great experience at Pigeon Hill! My friend and I stopped in here on a fun day out in Muskegon. We were making multiple stops, so we didn't stay very long, but we really enjoyed the experience and I think we would've been happy staying here all afternoon! The space didn't look very big when we first walked in, even though it is very large from the outside. There are some tables for dining, and seats at the bar. It looked pretty packed, so we ordered beers at the bar and walked toward the back area - that additional space is huge!! There are more tables, and some standing high tops back there, plus a couple dart boards. We were looking more for the vibe of the main area, so we went back and were able to get seats at the bar.I really enjoyed the pint of After Dune Delight IPA, and my friend loved hers as well - I think she had the Oatmeal Crème Pie Nitro. She even went back later that weekend to pick up more! The whole food menu sounded really good, but we weren't ready for food yet, so unfortunately didn't try any. Based on this experience I will absolutely venture back out to Muskegon just to go here! I really want to try more of their IPA's, as well as some of the food. I really liked the overall vibe, and the staff was all friendly as well. Definitely recommended!

Even though I really don't drink beer much anymore these days, Nate still likes trying breweries and I always have a sip or two of a flight here and there. We stopped in to Pigeon Hill Brewing Company after an afternoon at the beach recently. The place kind of feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's pretty close to downtown. There was plenty of parking, and a bit of outdoor seating that was shaded, which was nice as the sun was starting to peek out.We ordered a flight of six different beers from the friendly employees and headed out to the patio. They were smoking some pork outside, which smelled really good. We didn't get any food, but the menu looked tasty. I tried a sip of each of the beers and honestly just didn't really like any of them. The salted caramel porter was the favorite, but the cherry mango one was super medicinal with a chemical taste. I was most excited for the peaches and cream, which just didn't really give me a lot of peach flavor. Overall I didn't find anything I really loved, but don't let that keep you from checking it out if you enjoy beer - they have some unique brews that likely appeal to a broad range of beer enthusiasts.I noticed some families and groups inside playing games and enjoying the space. It seems like a fun, casual spot for locals and visitors alike.

We regularly drink PHBC beers at home, and love to see them at the MI Brewers Guild events. We were in Muskegon for the weekend visiting family and actually didn't even realize how close we were. It was such a pleasant surprise! Obviously it was a no-brainer - we had to stop in. We were looking for dinner, and were so pleasantly surprised to see that they had a kitchen and food menu. The menus that I was able to find online were different from what they had in person, which, initially was a little bit of a bummer, but the offerings weren't too different and they had lots of great options. They had a Cuban sandwich, and I LIVE for cuban sandwiches, so that was an immediate yes from me. We ordered food and drinks at the bar before sitting down. The food came out much quicker than expected. It was great! I ordered a flight. Flights here can be anywhere up to 6 beers. The food was good. The beer was good. The music playlist was good. The karaoke-ing bar-tenders were so much fun. Exceptional service. I wish this place was a little closer to us, but it will always be a fun place to come back and visit. I would not hesitate to recommend PHBC!
