Absolutely love this place!
I came to see Kyle Brown & The Human Condition and not only did the band win my heart, but so did the entire environment. The vibe at Rake Beer Project is unmatched; it is creative, cozy, and full of good energy.
I’m also falling in love with their coffee (yes, you read that right beer and coffee!). Huge shout-out to DJ, the bartender, for their warmth and attentiveness. Truly made the night feel even more special.
Can’t wait to come back. This place is something special.
Best craft Beers in Town. So many options to choose from and if you don't like one there are so many more options you can try! Definitely a great place to go relax and chill!
Great atmosphere, seasonal beer, and coffee, also very community oriented which i appreciated!
Great coffee drinks. Great beer especially if you like sours or creative smoothies. They keep it rotating pretty frequently and usually have a solid IPA or lager or Amber or something to choose from as well. You can get pizza next door and bring it in with you while you drink.
Also great spot for events. They do live music quite frequently among other pop-ups. Best bar vibe in Muskegon in my opinion.
Great people watching great beer great atmosphere!
DJ is great and the Oktoberfest is even better. We love Rake!
We LOVE a good microbrewery and this is one of the best when it comes to sours! My wife had a flight which she loved and I had a very good Hazy! Stop in to check out this nice home town brewery!
The beers here were outstanding. Best stout around. The brewmaster was manning the register, and took the time to have a conversation about the history of the business. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a beer and comfortable vibe.
I personally enjoyed my overall experience. I think the vibe was a bit more relaxed than my sensibilities appreciated, however. When compared with my wife's impressions, I think mine was more favorable. She struggled with the Morley sour, but liked the Zen Lunatic. The lower abv hazy ipa tasted watery, even at >5%. Morley was my favorite despite the relatively low abv. Very refreshing! Appreciated the clean barhrooms.
Ipa not good for us anyway

First time in Muskegon and this brewery has delicious beer. Gonna head back and fill the growler. Cheers!
By far the coolest place in MKG to find live music and delicious beers. Josh is a master of brewing, and consistently creates amazing, funky, and crushable beers.
Josh is awesome! Brews are amazing and unique. Always a great place to hit when in the area.
Beyond excited with the news of the new baby rake!
Great place! The owner is very involved and runs this place very well
