Food is decent. Service was okay. We wanted to add to our order near the end of our meal so we could take food home to a relative that couldn't make it. The server seemed troubled by this. Not troubled for taking the order, but checking to see when the order would be ready. We had been waiting for about 20 minutes after we had ordered. The server that I approached to ask about my meal said that it had been ready for about 10 minutes and our server should have brought that to us. Meanwhile, the server that I asked about it approached our server to get the food. She seemed really upset that her conversation with her friend was disrupted.

It's one of my favorite restaurants. Great menu, great prices. The food is delicious, the soup and salad bar is #1, and the employees are great. I stop in when I have my grandson because he gained a new best friend, Melanie, our favorite waitress.

I have been a long time customer of this establishment and the service and food is steadily declining. Today's visit I order fried chicken and ask for it to be dropped fresh. They brought out chicken that was not the correct pieces on what I ordered. Also, it was old chicken. The staff wasn't very friendly or welcoming. They treated me as if my request was asking for too much. I witnessed the staff passing my food back and forth to see who was going to bring me my food. As they were preparing the food I was watching the kitchen staff. The waitress came out and asked me to move because I was making them feel uncomfortable. I didn't move I continued to observe the food be prepared. I am really disappointed in the treatment that the staff showed me. You all have lost a long time patron of this restaurant.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! It was a busy holiday weekend and some restaurants were rude and busy BUT everyone here was amazing! There were plenty of waitresses and they were friendly and great! The food was good and served fast and hot, the service was great and our waitress came over several times to ask about our drinks and if we needed anything. AMAZING!!!!!!!!

We love Russ’ every time we come to Michigan we specifically planned to hit this one after leaving Michigan’s Adventures. My kids got chicken tenders and burger kid’s meals and my husband/FIL each got a burger with fries. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans, which was very good but aside from the gross imitation butter spread they tried to give me (they did have actual butter packets when I asked tho). Broccoli and cheese soup was a smash hit with my 5yo practically licking the bowl clean

This was our first time exploring Muskegon. We were a little confused about their hours and having two entrances. Once we figured that they were still open, it was a great experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was good. I enjoy going to smaller establishments than the chain of restaurants. I was not disappointed and will continue to do so. It was nice not to feel like we were just a number or a table . Again, very friendly staff.
