I got a take out order. I waited 45 minutes on the little seat with another lady. My order went in first then hers. She had gotten only one thing so didn’t mind that hers came out before mine. I had said something about it’s been a half hour. Finally at 45 min I said to the wait gal. Did they forget my order. She went back and it miraculously appeared. I left my onion rings were cold, not even warm and my slim Jim was not warm either. This really disappoints me as I’ve always enjoyed Russ’s. My last meal I ordered was not good either. But I wanted to give you another chance.

We went to Russ' over the weekend. We each had the Traditional Turkey Dinner. Along with the very tasty tender turkey, the meal included stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a roll. The cost was $14. It was filling and very tasty. Our waitress was friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing. It was nice to go to a restaurant with a family feel.

Food is decent. Service was okay. We wanted to add to our order near the end of our meal so we could take food home to a relative that couldn't make it. The server seemed troubled by this. Not troubled for taking the order, but checking to see when the order would be ready. We had been waiting for about 20 minutes after we had ordered. The server that I approached to ask about my meal said that it had been ready for about 10 minutes and our server should have brought that to us. Meanwhile, the server that I asked about it approached our server to get the food. She seemed really upset that her conversation with her friend was disrupted.

It's one of my favorite restaurants. Great menu, great prices. The food is delicious, the soup and salad bar is #1, and the employees are great. I stop in when I have my grandson because he gained a new best friend, Melanie, our favorite waitress.
