If you're in the area, you gotta stop by. Great service and cool history too. Fantastic beaches nearby.

A local gem since 1984 for anyone with a sweet tooth, which is somewhat hidden at the north side of the Muskegon State Park Beach Campground.

Loved the fall Sundae specials! We bought both the pumpkin and the apple crisp so we could share!

I always get the Neapolitan flavor burst in a waffle cone and they are always so good at making it. The first time they were a little nervous but they got it down ....Thank you!!!!

You really have to stop here at least once (a day) if you’re camping at the State Park. Their latest creation, a carrot cake sundae, was quite good, though we couldn’t find anything we wouldn’t want to eat.

Ruth Ann’s Ice Cream Shop is a delightful destination for anyone with a sweet tooth. The staff at Ruth Ann’s are incredibly friendly, always greeting customers with a smile and ready to offer suggestions from their extensive menu. What sets this shop apart is its array of unique ice cream options. A standout treat is their inventive ice cream nachos, a playful twist that combines the crunchy texture of waffle cone chips with the creamy goodness of ice cream. Whether you’re a traditionalist or an adventurous eater, Ruth Ann’s offers something to satisfy every palate. It’s a charming spot that promises a fun and tasty experience every visit.

Dietary restrictions: Have a selection of gluten free cones and dairy free options.

Way expensive and it's too many bugs to enjoy the ice cream outside. I suggest thermal cells for comfort.
