The Television channels blocked CNN and NBC. This is definitely a political decision sinceFOX news is offered in the rooms. I was told by the front desk that they block stations so you have to go the bar. The pool only has ladders and a handicap chair to get into the water. I was looking forward to exercising my knee in the pool. We did find NBC under a different station. We were offered 750 points it free breakfast. The free breakfast was bacon and eggs so we chose the points. The blow dryer was broken. Until they replace it I am eating in an air conditioned room with a wet head. The wonderful desk agent had a blow dryer waiting for me after breakfast.
I never give reviews, but I had to jump on and say this experience was terrible! The guy was so rude at the counter, said they were backed up and I asked how long it might be and he said, “as long as it takes me” and I was like oh gosh. You need a hug, friend! Go support another local coffee shop! Way friendlier faces.

I was very impressed with their customer service. I contacted them to change the reservation as I made a mistake and they were very accommodating in helping to correct. Check in and out was a breeze for my in-laws because of the great customer service department they have. Very pleased with this experience. Highly recommend staying here.
Can't rate food because there was NO service. Sign at counter said opened 630am. I was there about 840am. After a few minutes, another staff said they would go get the employee. She returned without anyone. After another 5 minutes, I left. This location might as well not

Loved it!! My fraternal father enjoyed ourselves
I was on the top floor with a nice view, but it was hot out, and the AC never succeeded even after *hours* of getting the temperature down to 75. A big stray light from the back of the TV (which was off) kept it from being dark at night, plus a really poorly fitted door meant the bright corridor light shown through. Even the smoke alarm light was unusually bright. This is a downtown hotel, so there's noise from traffic & sirens, but there was no constant fan option for the temp control to help cover it. Not a great experience.
We picked this hotel because it was close to the express ferry. Friendly staff at checkin, at the bar and Walkers/hotel restaurant. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Great pillows! We thought it was a bit pricey and breakfast is NOT included. We paid 14 dollars each for breakfast buffet at hotel restaurant. It was really good. Lots of selection. Overall we enjoyed this hotel.
The ladies were both so kind.
Very convenient to be able to walk to the attached convention center and through to Trinity Health Rink. Lobby is comfortable and bar/restaurant is spacious. Staff are friendly. Room is spacious. Beds are comfortable, but pillows are not. One downfall is the water in shower does not get very hot. Pool is good size but warm. Hot tub was out of order. Very convenient and shot walk to many things in downtown such as Unruly Brewing, 18th Amendment Distillery, bowling, sand volleyball/soccer, etc.

Restaurantji Recommends
This hotel is fantastic. The staff was very helpful and kind, the facility was immaculately clean and very quiet, and there are several bars and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to people staying in the area.
This was our second stay in the Muskegon area, and I would never stay here again. When you stay at a Motel 6 you at least know what to expect but at this hotel you get the quality of a roadside motel at the price of a Marriott. At the time of writing, this is the most expensive hotel in Muskegon and is not even close to worth it. The rooms are uncomfortable with the staff trying to hide cheap mattresses by putting foam pads on the top. The appliances in my room were broken and the sliding glass shower door was so unlevel I had to wedge a washcloth in the jamb to keep if from sliding completely open. The TV had a 3 second delay to even change the channel and the AC is so loud it’ll keep you awake all night. If you plan on using their business center, I’d say think again. It’s just an uncomfortable table in the middle of their lobby with wooden chairs I swear they grabbed from a middle school cafeteria. Their Wi-Fi isn’t password protected so do what you will with that info. Finally, they don’t offer a continental breakfast throughout the week, which just feels extraordinarily cheap. They have a paid restaurant in the lobby, but this is the first time I’ve been to a hotel that doesn’t at least offer a cereal bar. Heck, even Super 8’s give you a muffin and a beat up waffle station. In short, save your money and go somewhere else. For the price the Shoreline Inn is half a mile away and is a far nicer stay for less. I would never stay here again.
The receptionist was fantastic and greeted us with a smile and even went out of her way to help us!!! The on site restaurant and Starbucks both were good and had quick service. The room looked clean but the bed bugs were hidden! The Manager that came to our room was very nonchalant about the issue and belittled our issue. I received an email several days after from the manager Stacy which also belittled our bug experience. I would not stay there again!
We were there with a team for a tournament. There were business rooms available to all the teams staying at the hotel on a first-come basis, which was great. We utilized one of the rooms on our second night to throw a pizza party for the team (a group of 11/12 year old girls) and their parents. We were asked to remove all cans and bottles of alcohol from the meeting room, which we did immediately. Forty minutes later the same rude manager retuned with an entourage of Muskegon police requesting that we vacate the room. At that time time were were all just playing board and card games. Our understanding is that the hotel wanted the parents to patronize the on-site bar, which had no draught beer (due to a fire) and was out of liquor for multiple drinks on their menu. The hotel was nice and the location was great, however, due to the incredibly unprofessional treatment by the manager I would not recommend staying at this particular hotel. In fact, the Shoreline Inn across the street was beautiful and our friends enjoyed a wonderful stay there!
Very limited of what they will make. No hot lattes. Only plain coffee and iced drinks. Won't take the starbucks app or starbuck gift cards. We have both the app and gift cards with over $50 available and we could not use it. "We don't take those" they said. Only open Saturday to Thursday 630a to 1p. Friday & Sunday only open 640a-1130a. Such a joke
