I’m from out of state. I eat there every time I’m in town. Perch dinners were above average. This time the perch didn’t taste like perch at all. It was served in a to-go box with plastic cutlery. I asked for a glass of water but their fountain was out of order. I could purchase a beverage including water from their cooler. There were tables to sit down to eat but they encouraged take-out. Not worth ever going back.

I ordered and the worker couldn't even turn her head to ask the cook or whoever what was on something. The workers should know what is on the menu and should have no problem asking the cook what is in this or come on if you Don't. Soaybe work on service and teaching the waithers how to ask simple questions about the food. Will never go again so stupid.

I ordered the diner burger and beer battered fries. Oh my gosh!! Delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy and tasty. And Jamie adds a great touch with her upbeat singing.?

I had the absolute worst onion rings ever yesterday at the diner. There was a small pile of tough, finely cut fried onions with no batter on a plate of grease. This was my first visit since the name change from Tootsie's. They were the encouragement I needed to cut back on deep fried foods.

My partner and I went to dine in for brunch and had an absolutely awful experience. He ordered the grilled cheese burger and I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waitress was nice and the wait for my partner's food wasn't terribly long, however my meal didn't come until about 15-20 mins after my partner's meal arrived with no explanation.When my food did finally arrive at the table, it was clear something was off. I took one bite of the waffle and had to spit it right out. It wasn't cooked all the way and was soaked completely through with oil. The chicken that came on top was a single breaded tenderloin, not at all what you'd expect for "chicken and waffles". We called the waitress over and explained that the waffle was unedible and raw and asked her to remove it from our bill, she did so and apologized and asked if there was anything else I'd like. At this point though, my partner was completely finished eating and who knows how long it'd take to reorder and receive a new meal. I declined and the waitress promised that next time we came in she'd take care of us, but I'm doubtful that there will be a next time.I can understand an oversight and there being a small gap between dishes coming out but this was truly unacceptable. There was only one other person dining in at the time, so I'm really confused at how the kitchen managed to screw up so badly. Disappointing, we live close by and hoped this place would become somewhere we'd frequent. After looking at the other recent reviews, I'm not sure the place is worth a second chance.
