Always love the food and where the restaurant is. But it seems last couple of times we have went it was a longer wait for our food. Also didn't like the fact if you knew wait staff you got your order before people that were waiting before. Understand food cooks different but when it's pizza ?? No they didn't order before they got there. Order was placed once they sat down.
First time going to this bar was during bike time and again just meeting someone down there. I tried their grand slam pizza which was good. But had a weird aftertaste but still good, so I order again there. And the third time same weird aftertaste. When I try out a new place I like to try it out 3 times before I make my overall review. Pizza is good made with real tomato sauce but bread is overall soggy and just not a good taste. Staff is okay but not welcoming, I don't know...
My wife and I came in because this place was recommended as a good place for us to watch the US Women’s National Soccer Team in the Gold Medal Game of the Olympics — and it was a good place for that indeed. The food was fine. Pretty standard pub fare. The atmosphere was what made this place, though. The garage doors were open on a perfect summer day, letting in a gentle breeze while we watched the game.
