After being told across street that the kitchen was closed(at 7:35 on sat nite), I went to the store looking for something to eat. The lady working there said this place was open, so I drove over. The staff was SUPER! I ordered a hot turkey sandwich to go. I’d been thinking about comfort food since that morning. The cook brought it right out to me, asking if I needed plastic ware, saying she hoped this was a sandwich I didn’t forget. Not a chance!! The first bite was like coming home. The second like a big, warm hug you’ve been looking for your whole entire life! It was amazingly scrumptious, I was immensely comforted, and I most definitely will not forget that sammich! Thank u SO much for making my night! I highly recommend!!

Pasty was very soggy and not much taste and gravy tasted like it was out of the can. The salad seemed nice so I decided to try. Loved all the pasta salads and dressing but the beans had a weird taste. Server was great and I am not sure why everyone says servers are rude because they weren't. One thing is to make sure you bring cash because out of nowhere the credit card machine won't work.

The food is very good, not great and the service is friendly. The best part is the amazing views out onto the lake. Has an authentic, country atmosphere. The croutons on the salad bar are the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!!

Disappointed they do not allow dogs on their outdoor deck. Legally, there is no health code violation as they said. But they are a private business and can refuse service and I respect that. But warning to travelers with dogs, this place will not allow them on the property and will not serve you. So if you're staying at that motel with a pet, you will not be able to eat at the restaurant next to it. Very disappointed. But again, any business has the right to refuse service, just kinda silly refusing service to my fully vaccinated, trained, 20lb cardiac alert service dog in an outdoor area where wild animals and bugs are crawling around everywhere.

Everything about this place was wonderful! We had breakfast and the portions were huge and the price was reasonable. Our waitress was very friendly and the view of Lake Michigan was beautiful. We will stop there again when traveling.
