I think this is the best burger I have had in Marquette County so far. I got the Pit and it was delicious! The atmosphere is pretty standard for a bar, the music is very loud so its hard to hear the people your with but the food was great!

After hearing how great this place was and pictures of big burgers. Was severely disappointed when my cheese steak came looking like something I could microwave out of a box. It was on what I would call a brat bun. And of course 6 onion rings.Definitely not worth $20 and change for sandwich and a pop

Thank you to the Jackson's Pit staff family! As working travelers, this bar gave us a place to call home while we were in town! The staff is very knowledgeable about the food, of which is fabulous from appetizers to burgers and salads too! The staff is beyond wonderful, so friendly and fun. Wait, I can't forget the locals, they are kind and amazing as well! Just an all around great experience and atmosphere. We hold Kate, Kat & Becca dear in our memories & hearts! Don't want to be social? No fear! You can also choose a table away from the bar, the food is worth it! (So are the drinks, and the pours are good too.) (Can't wait to get my sweatshirt I ordered!!!)

Feel like I was incredibly ripped off by them. Got two grilled chicken sandwiches for almost 30 bucks which felt overpriced but I got fries as well and these days who knows what food will cost ya. But not only were the grilled chicken sandwiches covered in the cheapest mayo I’ve ever tasted, the buns were stale. Also my fries were cold and are literally just normal frozen fries that they add nothing to—including no ketchup in a to go order. I cannot believe this place has such a good rating. Maybe people are drunk when they leave their reviews? Because I could’ve had this same meal at a similar or even lower price at home and it would taste a thousand times better. Also the vibe is local dive bar but you’re paying tourist prices. Not at all impressed. Wish I could take back the tip I left. Avoid if possible.

This would have been a five star review based on our first experience which was just yesterday 8/15/23. Hubby and I went in for taco Tuesday and both ordered tacos, ordered some drinks, apps and dessert and spent a good amount and it was worth it and then today happened. We were actually looking forward to going back and we arrive at 10 pm and are told the kitchen is closed when Google states they are open until 11 pm. Be more specific if that is the case I mean you are a tourist destination and visitors will not know that. However a good business owner would have served us food with it just being 10 pm as you know the kitchen people are still there and why turn away money? We were looking forward to the Holly smash burgers and tomorrow we planned on going back for the summer strawberry salad and i think I was most excited to go back for the lemon cake!! Unfortunately this owner only seems to care about responding to positive reviews so I don't have much hope for he/she or them/they trying to rectify the situation but that's okay I will NEVER beg anyone to take my money when I know there are many others that would love to take it.

Very good food! The wonderful staff makes for a great atmosphere. An excellent dining experience. Not just bar food!
The burger was pretty good. Ordered onion rings and got 4. Ordered tomatoes on my burger and it was razor thin. Paid extra for both. Ordered the Orange shanty tap beer, came “flat” and not very cold. When we talked to the server about the beer she responded your next beer will come from the same cooler. When asked about the 4 onion rings for $2.50 she said yes that’s correct. Very disappointed.

Came here for the first time tonight - food was incredible. I had the Southwest Chicken wrap which was served hot & fresh, packed with flavor. This is where I will be taking all my friends & family when they come in town to visit.
