We’ve been to Midtown a few times for their desserts but never tried any of their actual food until earlier this week. So glad we did! We had the All-American Turkey & Ham on sourdough and the mac and cheese soup, 10/10! It was hands down the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. I’m still raving about that soup, it was so rich and comforting! I’ll definitely be watching their menu closely, and you can bet I’ll be a regular when I see that soup on the menu! So delicious!
I've been here many times and love the atmosphere. With that being said, it's a bakery and often times the baked goods taste days old. They don't taste fresh, they're chewy and sometimes hard. Customer service is also hit or miss depending on the day.
I came here with my friend for breakfast - we split a biscuits and sausage gravy, and an egg baked casserole with some hash browns and meats in it. I had a hot chocolate, as well, which easily ranked in the top ten best cafe hot chocolates I've had. The service was fun and friendly, portions were generous, and we got to enjoy the atmosphere including local conversation and camaraderie. A warm and cozy way to spend a winter morning.
