I stopped in today, a friend recommended it. I got a delicious cheese steak. So good. And both waffle and regular fries were hot and crisp. I will be going there again!

Great shop. Had the breakfast strudel and it was incredible. Love the hockey decor, got a bit of a retro diner meets old school hockey rink concession vibe.

I’ve had my share of sandwiches and this place is excellent! If you are passing through, like we were, this is a must stop sandwich shop!

The girl working the counter was friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Muffaletta and the Cheesesteak! Shop local!

Yummiest food, cutest atmosphere and themed on point! Friendly and FAST! Such a sweet little local addition. Break away from the need to drive to mqt for comparable options.

For the people saying it’s expensive - it is, but do you live under a rock?! Have you been out in the world? Life is expensive. ?

You can tell the ingredients are top shelf. It’s worth the price. Give this place a (slap)shot!!

Pretty pricey for what you get. $14 for what’s really half of a decent but mostly bread Philly and no drink or side $8 for very tiny and overcooked cheese curds. Doubt I’ll be back.

So thrilled I finally got to try this place! I got the Broccoli Hero and the fried pickles and holy wah was it phenomenal! Service was quick and friendly, atmosphere rules. Bring your hockey obsessed uncle and fill up on friendship!

Pros: quaint place with a cool theme. Offering different options besides the typical MQT burgers and pizza

Cons: lunch for myself cost $25!!!! To add to that I was still hungry when I left. Sandwiches remind me of Panera, way too much bread and hardly anything in the middle. The friend pickles were quite chewy, some inedible. Served on the red and white checkered paper reminded, felt like I was eating school lunch. Not many places to sit. One of the seating areas had an abundance of hot sauces, which is cool, but seems like that area could be better utilized by being a table top. For $25 I can justify going here again. Prices are too high for the quantity and quality of items being served.

Finally tried this restaurant. I had the Muffuletta and tried the poutine. The Muffuletta was alright, although I was a little disappointed it was not served on a sesame bun (bread) as Muffuletta is the type of bread it's served on and named after, I also felt it needed a lot more olive salad on it.

The poutine was meh, wasn't a fan of the biscuit (sausage) gravy on it, would prefer the traditional brown gravy.

The service was fast. Price was a little steep for the amount of food (~$25 for both), but that's the way things seem to be anywhere you go. They had a few more sandwiches that sounded good, so I'll be back to try them.

This place is amazing. The theme is on point, and where else are you gonna get cheese fries that are so close to beef-a-roo's?? Locally owned, and breakfast all day. ?

37 dollars for 2 sub par sammiches and a side of fries with like no cheese on them......seems kinda outrageous to me. They were nice and all....but....I definitely was wowed at the total price. Rather go to an Applebee's than this.

Cute place! Service was on point, food came rather quickly. Our sandwiches were delicious. We ordered some poutine to split. The jury is still out on that. Only reason being I’m not sure if we are huge fans of the sausage gravy on top. I’d order them again though if they offered the traditional brown gravy. But all in all a great little place!?

Locally owned & operated, this place is the best addition to downtown Negaunee. Their menu has something for everyone, & everything is SO good. I especially appreciate their incredible team. And I mean, breakfast served all day? Heck yeah. You need to go Slap Shot ASAP.

Food is kinda high priced for the amount you get. The size of the place is a hole in the wall. But Taste of the food is great.
