Awesome genuine homemade Italian food. Menu changes on the time to match what is fresh. It’s an experience, not just a meal.

I took my husband to this restaurant and it was fabulous in a homey, delicious way. Wonderful staff very welcoming and the food was exceptional. Potato gnocchi w portobello butter sauce? Ethereal! I'd have it as my last meal. Rustic breads, a tasty antipasto plate, tangy rice salad, wonderful pork and the desert! Worth every penny!

While visiting our son in the U.P on Father's Day weekend, we discovered that Strega Nonna was having one of their special event dinners, (Persian). We happily made a reservation, and were not disappointed! All the offerings, (there were many), were interesting and SO flavorful! A lovely place in a lovely space… we'll be back!

What a fun experience! They line up a multi course menu, pace the meal accordingly so you aren't too full, and offer a wide variety of foods to try that all balance well with one another. We had ahi tuna, squid, roast, pasta, everything was delicious and well crafted. The staff seemed excited to present their dishes and gave a wonderful welcome. I felt like I was in the home of a family enjoying a meal cooked with love. One of the most interesting meal experiences I've had and well worth a visit!

Took myself here for a ā€œme dateā€ and ordered the whole experience plus dessert. I was so confident in my tiny self that I could take on that spread šŸ˜…but I needed a few boxes lol. It was fantastic! Worth every penny and the drive from Gwinn to show myself some self love for the evening at this place šŸ–¤

Came here on a whim while passing trough the area looking for something that wasn't just the typical tavern food typically served in the area and was more than satisfied. The grilled octopus and pickled quail eggs were rare treats.

Had a magical experience and fantastic service! It was a great way to explore different types of food and drink, the dishes were so creative, and the deviled eggs were the best I've ever had. Negaunee is so lucky to house this absolute hidden gem. I can't wait to come back :
