Every dish tasted amazing. There’s something special about sitting down and having a restaurant take care of you . Not having to pick the meal was an absolute delight. Just bring us something delicious. We felt transported to a far away culinary utopia! We shall return.

The place has a great vibe and the dinner experience, sharing food, is good idea! The service is good… now, taking about the food, not the best. Undercooked pasta, which was recooked but it was undercooked again :(, good flavors not the best execution (specially for the price :$) I had a good time with live music for sure. Went here for our anniversary, and Strega Nonna was just amazing. I don’t write reviews often, but I felt this place was more than deserving of one! Both the food and servers were amazing, and we would definitely go back again. Thank you to our server Alec, and to our second server (the bar manager).

If I could, I’d give them 8 stars. The staff energy, communication, knowledge…I can’t say enough good things about our experience.
I have complex food allergies so eating at a restaurant is hard. If you have any sort of food allergies you know how stressful it is… But NOT at Strega! Holy wah! It was so easy!! I don’t have to spend a single ounce of energy thinking about what I was going to eat! I explained my allergies, they asked clarifying questions, and explained their allergy care process, told the other waitstaff who helped us so nothing got missed, and told me about any possible cross-contamination.
And then they just brought us food! I didn’t have to spend 20 minutes struggling to make a choice that was safe for me to eat. They worked it out so I could just relax and enjoy! That was a first for me and such a relief.
And then the FOOD itself! Y’all. The food was PHENOMENAL!! Fresh veg. Rich & unique flavors. The cocktails were perfection, too. There was wonderful live music but it was still easy to have a conversation. Easily the best quality and most unique cuisine in the county.
It will be our go-to date night spot from now on. So grateful for our amazing dinner tonight & getting to actually relax at a restaurant for the first time in years. Thank you Strega Team!

We really wanted to like this restaurant. My husband and I have been coming to the UP for years, and were so excited to hear about this place. However, the food was one of the worst meals we've ever had. The gnocchi fell apart in the mouth and was almost inedible. The pasta puttanesca tasted and smelled like a can of anchovies was dumped in the sauce and the pasta was under done. The final beef course was the best, but it didn't taste like anything! Very under-seasoned.
The staff was wonderful, the vibes were great, the piano player was fantastic, but at this price point, the food had to be good, and it just wasn't. Unfortunately, we may have just caught them on an off week, as they change their menu frequently, but we will not be returning.
As out-of-towners, I DO NOT recommend this restaurant for the food.

I took my husband to this restaurant and it was fabulous in a homey, delicious way. Wonderful staff very welcoming and the food was exceptional. Potato gnocchi w portobello butter sauce? Ethereal! I'd have it as my last meal. Rustic breads, a tasty antipasto plate, tangy rice salad, wonderful pork and the desert! Worth every penny!

While visiting our son in the U.P on Father's Day weekend, we discovered that Strega Nonna was having one of their special event dinners, (Persian). We happily made a reservation, and were not disappointed! All the offerings, (there were many), were interesting and SO flavorful! A lovely place in a lovely space… we'll be back!

Strega Nona now offering Sunday Brunch! Pam and i tried it out today and it was truly amazing. The quality of the food and it preparation was truly outstanding! Pam and I have traveled a Lot and i have never had a better dining experience. The price is a bit above average but Worth It! We are definitely going back Soon!
