Took myself here for a “me date” and ordered the whole experience plus dessert. I was so confident in my tiny self that I could take on that spread 😅but I needed a few boxes lol. It was fantastic! Came here on a whim while passing trough the area looking for something that wasn't just the typical tavern food typically served in the area and was more than satisfied. The grilled octopus and pickled quail eggs were rare treats.

This was our first time here. There's nothing about this place that is a "typical Italian restaurant". We loved it. The atmosphere is laid back, not stuffy at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the food was great! The menu changes weekly, so unless you come here a lot, you won't get the same food. We'll definitely be back and recommend that you give it a try. The only warning that I would give is that it's a bit pricey, but we felt that it was worth it.

Great food on a nice tight changing menu, and the staff is willing and able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Great drink selection. A good dining atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Live music was neat too. Very easy to work with when planning an event and ample, easily accessible parking.
Overall a unique and fun dining experience. Thank you to all the staff, and I look forward to visiting again.

We didn’t even eat here and we had SO MUCH FUN! (we plan to come back to enjoy food ASAP!). We were walking to the park for a picnic and parked in front of Strega Nonna. As we were unloading the car our little ones wandered over to watch the SN chef make pizzas through the kitchen window. Soon after Rachael and her crew came outside with some pizza dough and taught our little ones how to toss pizza dough! We had the most unexpected, yet FUN, interaction! Our girls are still talking about their pizza lessons and want to go back to eat there and our whole family is looking forward to returning for more fun and delicious food! Thank you for the special memory and for being so kind to our little gals!

A truly world class experience in Negaunee. It's hard not to sound corny when writing a rave review but the food and folks at Strega Nona are fantastic. Some of the best food in the state/region let alone the UP. We went 2 nights in a row and will probably go again tonight because won't be back in the area for a year. I don't really have great pictures because we devoured the food as it came out.

My husband and I love exploring different parts of the UP, and the last few days we explored the Marquette area. Strega Nonna came on my list of places to look up for dining. We absolutely love Italian cuisine and this place did not disappoint! Family style plates and atmosphere! Awesome outdoor area and the drinks were on point! Fresh sourdough, pastas made in-house, locally sourced ingredients, you cannot go wrong here! Do yourself a favor and check out what they are doing ? Keep up the amazing work!
