Louis' Chop House Reviews
Great food, service, cocktails, and atmosphere!!
Best steak iv had in a long time and the waitress was amazing

Came for Father's Day dinner with a normal party size (6 people), and had a very nice server. The restaurant was not very busy and the area we were sat in was really pretty.

Louis' Chop House is a classic steakhouse known for its prime cuts of meat. The strip steak, sirloin, and filet are standout dishes, often served with sides like mashed potatoes, green beans, and onion straws. The Detroiter is a particularly popular and value-driven option. While the fish dishes may not impress, the steak-focused menu is the main draw. The restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere, with a live singer in the bar area. The kids' menu is also reasonably priced, making it a suitable choice for family outings. Recent guests have praised the food’s excellent cooking, with some enjoying the 8-ounce Piedmonte steak paired with onion straws and au gratin potatoes. Others have mentioned the lamb chops and sauteed perch, highlighting their delicious flavors. The staff, especially servers like Ban, have been noted for their friendliness and good service. The restaurant also features entertainment on Thursdays and a good wine list, adding to the enjoyable experience. However, some guests feel that the soda options could be improved, especially for those with dietary restrictions.
