On The Bay Boutique, Bar & Cafe

Was super excited to try this place, and it was such a disappointment. It’s been about a week since I went and I’m still regretting spending my hard earned money there.
Our food was terrible, the lobster roll was dry, lacking flavor, not worth $25. My sister got a side of mac and cheese ($9) literally microwaved cheese over noodles….dont really know how something so halfhearted took over an hour to even get to our table….we were one of the only tables in there as well. It did start to get busier, but nothing that should’ve affected our food wait that much. I watched a table get up and leave because they were not getting any service.
The lack of structure was confusing to guests and I’m sure frustrating for staff. People were unaware that they couldn’t just seat themselves so it was chaotic at the front door. The host stand was towards the back of the restaurant. It just didn’t make sense.
Drinks were not great either unfortunately.

Extremely huge waste of money, will not be back.

Nice spot for an outside experience. Food needs help. Ordered 2 items, both were underwhelming and had to be sent back

Unfortunately a pretty disappointing experience. My pizza had a hair on it. After sending it back, we were given plates to eat off of and one was still dirty. Would not go again :(

We had a terrible experience today at your restaurant, first cut brunch off an hour early, then we did have a pleasant watress. But the 2 drinks took way to long to get to us and the pretzel pepperoni pizza took about an hour to get to us and we were told they were delayed and the pizza came out terribly and we sent it back not a good experience at all

On the Bay have great Food I went on a Sat morning at 8am I Enjoy my Veggie Omelette with Sausage gravy on top. Please ask for Toni she makes the Best Sausage and gravy. I will be Back soon thank y'all for making my day Beautiful

Customers, be warned: My friends and I came here for lunch expecting what was advertised. I ordered the Bay Burger, described on the menu as having two 1/4 lb. Angus beef patties. When my burger arrived, it contained only one patty. I brought this to the waitress’s attention, and she checked with the kitchen. She returned saying the cook claimed it’s supposed to be just one patty and that new menus are arriving today. When I spoke to the owner, he insisted it’s not deceptive because the single patty weighs the same as the two patties combined. This excuse does nothing to justify the misleading menu description. To make matters worse, when I received the bill, the price was $1 more than what was listed on the menu. I brought this overcharge to the waitress’s attention, but no action was taken to correct the price discrepancy. This is a blatant and unacceptable business practice. Customers and business owners alike should demand honesty and transparency—anything less is simply not acceptable.

Went here for a friend's birthday party. Food was great and service was fast and friendly

Went here because of the 4.6 star reviews and the cute tiki theme. When we sat for lunch we were handed menus by a nice waitress, although ever never mentioned anything about the items that they no longer carry (atleast a quarter of their menu). Onky once we began to order did we find this out. We were told that a new owner recently took over so this is why the menu has changed. Received subpar food, and some of the food was not even what we ordered (ordered sandwhich, Received tacos). Beyond the food experience, the restaurant was filthy. The bathrooms were the worst. Literally beyond dirtier than a bar at 2a, this wasnt filth from today either. It was 2 in the afternoon with only 2 other diners. I would have never dined here if I took a quick stroll around the restaurant first. I can no longer trust google reviews!

They having been showing all the World Cup games and I love that in my little town. Went for lunch to enjoy some good food and football! ⚽

Truly feels like you're at Siesta Keys. Very Flordia feeling. The Lobster Bisque is probably the best thing on the menu.

They must be on Lake Time because it took 45min to bring out a plate of nachos. On the other hand, they were some of the best nachos I've had! I was not fond of the country music selection playing over the sound system...

​I am writing this to express my sincere disappointment with my recent dining experience at On the Bay. Unfortunately, the service and food quality were significantly below acceptable standards.
​Our experience began with an unacceptable wait time. We waited over an hour for our food, during which time we watched several parties who were seated well after us not only order before us but finish their meals and depart the restaurant before our food arrived.
​The level of attentiveness was equally lacking. It was not until one member of our party left the table to physically track down a staff member that we received any acknowledgement of our wait. Throughout the evening, it was clear that the staff was indifferent to our experience. This was particularly stressful as we were dining with a five-year-old; expecting a child to wait over an hour without sustenance is entirely unreasonable.
​When the food finally arrived, it was not worth the wait. The Cuban sandwich was, without exaggeration, one of the driest sandwiches I have ever been served. Furthermore, the flatbreads were severely overcooked and inedible.
​Management and staff at On the Bay appeared unconcerned with these failures, and there was no effort made to rectify the situation. I had high hopes for our visit, but the lack of basic organization and quality control makes it impossible for me to recommend this establishment. We will not be returning.

Casual fun dining. Great rum runner during happy hour. Steak bites were ok. The warm pretzel with cheese appetizer was really tasty
