“My three guests had never eaten at Green Street and they loved the atmosphere as well as the food. This was an important time and place for us because I was their ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher back in the 1983-84 school year!! Yes, we have kept in contact each year, usually around Christmas. They were immigrants from Vietnam several years before they were in my class. Thank you for your usual good food and service. “I had a great experience checking out The Pickled Goat this past Sunday during the Winterfest. Even with the festival crowds, the atmosphere was nice and laid back. I really enjoyed the vibe—multiple TVs showing Premier League soccer and Ridiculousness, plus an all-'90s playlist that was perfect for a Sunday hangout. ​I ordered the Bourbon Burger, and it was a flavor powerhouse. The housemade Maker’s Mark BBQ sauce has a rich, smoky sweetness with a sharp Sriracha kick that I loved. The smoked gouda and crunchy onion straws really rounded it out. I also had the beer-battered onion rings, which were thick and crispy, and I shared the Tater Kegs with our group—they are a must-order! ​My wife had the Dill Pickle Soup and absolutely loved it (it’s a standout if you like tangy, creamy flavors), along with a 3-piece Fish and Chips that was excellent. ​The service was really good; I noticed it was a little slow on occasion, but that’s completely understandable given the festival rush. Everyone in my group was happy with their meal, and I’ve already decided we’re heading back soon to try more of the menu.“

“A shout out for this local restaurant. Went with my family of eight for dinner on Tuesday night. Our server, Nikki, was outstanding. Handled all of us with efficiency and good humor. Couldn’t ask for a better server. Everyone complemented the food. I had the smothered chicken, and thought it was beyond good. Liked it so much I went back on Wednesday for another serving. After, I spoke with the chef, Nick, and told him it was even better if that was possible. Trevor, who handled my Order, was very helpful and pleasant. I Asked For a special accommodation which he assured me was no problem at all. Really did make me feel like I wasn’t asking too much. Many thanks to Nikki, Nick, and Trevor!“
