If your final destination is Detroit airport, Skip the Airport food and come here. Classic example of a small mom and pop owned place. Plus, your bill will be a quarter of what the same things at the airport would cost.
We had the corned beef and eggs, chili cheese fries, and French toast. The service was amazing, we were promptly greeted and served our beverages. Chili on the chili cheese fries was well flavored and had a great consistency. The fries were fresh and crunchy. Came here for the first time for breakfast Sunday mid-morning. It's a very small place yet inviting and I was able to get a booth right away. I had read a review saying they had a river view so I was hoping to get one. Service was quick and polite. I had the Boston omelet with hash browns and wheat toast.
