This time was actually unsatisfactory. I had the braised short ribs, which were more fat than meat. Fat wasn't rendered down well, making it a more chewy cut. Kid ordered his steak coffee rubbed, but it was not. Wife's steak was dry, even though seemingly cooked to medium rare as requested. We will probably go back, as we never let one experience ruin things, and all the other times we have been there were fine.
My wife's dinner was very good. She had the fillet mignon. I had the shrimp and lobster pasta. My pasta was short on taste. The appetizer we had was the buffalo shrimp that was very good but our sides we ordered (the onion rings and truffle fries ) were not as good as I would have expected especially for a high end restaurant. The starting salad was ok but the dressing ( blue cheese) was less than desirable. The ambiance was amazing .
It was our 15 year anniversary and this was our first visit to the restaurant. It was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and the drinks were great! We will be coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
