I did not enjoy this restaurant at all. The Velveeta cheeseburger was an 8oz burger with a thick paste of velveeta cheese, not at all what i expected. I thought it would be melty but it was not. The fries were completely unseasoned, not even salt.
It was a hot summer day in Grand Rapids, so me, my brother and cousin drove 2 hours to New Buffalo, just for Redamaks, and boy I’ll tell you, I would’ve driven an extra 5 Thousand miles just to get a bite of that delicious, legendary burger. My dad’s friend from college, Gay Schuyler was very excited to see me and gave me a big hug, she is so kind. And so is the owner Charles, my great uncle from Alabama. I can’t wait to come back every Thursday afternoon for the rest...
We went at prime dinner rush and had no wait, was greeted with a smile and seated in a booth. Nice selection of food choices, settled on a burger with fries and a hot chicken sandwich. Both were really delicious. The whole staff walked around with a smile even when they were not with customers... great experience and will come back again!
