Great wine and great people, so it has everything!
Off the beaten track, but very worth the stop. Greg is a gracious host. He is very knowledgeable about grapes and wine making and seems to love sharing his expertise. It’s quiet and peaceful, and such an enjoyable experience. We sat in the sunshine and loved hearing the story of their winery. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon!
Happen to find this little gem hidden away in Ocean County, New Era, Mi area. Greg and Renee have a little gem there. Call ahead which Greg really likes so they can give you the attention that you so deserve when you go to this little place. Don't expect anything major or fancy. This place is small and very delightful. They will show you care like the other ones will not. They're just willing to push their stuff through you. Into us the one-on-one touch is what it makes this place. Believe they had about 12 wines for us to go through. We picked the five wine tasting menu, so we tasted roughly eight different wines. We ended up ordering the Oceana White which was a very delightful white wine with a light fruit taste and is one of the favorites. Actually won an award a while back. Price was $26 for the bottle. And we already went through it. Tacoma a couple of small tasting glasses as well. It's down a little dirt road, so look for it carefully. But you will be pleasantly surprised. They don't offer food but they offer wheat crackers to cleanse your pallet while you're doing the tasting. They do not have an issue with you bringing in your food to have with the wine. Little small garden area to sit at. They have limited hours, so look ahead of time. Please give Greg and Renee all the business that you can, it is so well deserved!! This is a hidden gem!
Greg was very informative and friendly. We enjoyed our flights of red and white wines. We would recommend this Vineyard to anyone who is interested in trying some of the best wines in Michigan.
Highly recommend this winery. The owner was very kind to sit with us explain all the wines and gave us lots of information. Very kind gentleman. And the wine 🍷 is so smooth and light , very good flavor. Even tried ones I wouldn't have because of the owners information. We will be back.
We had a wonderful time here! Greg is super friendly and clearly passionate about his wines! He took the time so explain each wine we tasted and his thought process in making that wine. Would 100% recommend visiting!
what a wonderful hidden gem! we went to oceana winery for our bachelorette party and ended up a little late for our tasting but Greg made sure to give us the works. he explained the menu and process throughly, checked in frequently, and shared his story of his experience on the winery! i can’t recommend this place enough- quaint tables to sit at, a delicious variety of wines, and a gorgeous view of the vineyard. thank you greg for making this stop on our bachelorette party such a blast.
Went there this weekend on a motorcycle trip from Wisconsin to see Miranda at the soaring eagle.. this place is a gem.. will definitely be ordering wine .. a must stop.will no be disappointed
Had a wonderful tasting in a beautiful setting. Loved hearing about their grape growing and winemaking experiences in this corner of the world. Don't leave without trying the Gewurztraminer!
Greg and his mom are so lovely! They had a terrible storm recently and still were able to serve us. We learned so much about his premium wines & left with an amazing bottle of pinot noir! Greg has gone through more than his fair share and still provides a fantastic experience! Wishing all the best to this family & winery!
