“We took a random day trip to The Lake and were in the mood for ice cream. Stopped at Country Dairy because it was the only ice cream place we could find open on a cool rainy March day. It was literally the best ice cream I've ever had. It's so rich and creamy. The clerk at the counter was super nice and helpful.”

“My travels have brought me to the small town of New Era a couple weeks ago. It was the only place in town. When looking online at the menu, it looked short, but I was hungry so I gave it a try. They specialized in grilled cheese and tomato soup. Why not? It was a rainy day.This place did NOT disappoint. They brought me this huge stuffed grilled cheese sandwich with piles and piles of ham on it. It had cream cheese on it, which was questionable, but was surprisingly delicious! At $14 for a grilled ham and cheese and tomato soup, simply the best I've ever heard..and that's comparing against a grilled cheese served in Switzerland that was claimed as being a world renowned grilled cheese and one of the best in the world. This place beat them out, hands down.While I most likely won't be back to this little town, I will miss this gem in the middle of the Mid-northern Michigan wilderness. Stop and try it. It may be a couple miles off the highway, but it WILL be worth it!”

“This place is amazing. Food prices were very affordable and everything is home made. It is also like stepping back in time to an old soda shop. The owner cooks all the food from scratch and she is super friendly. We went there every day for brunch. My favorite place to eat in Michigan.”

On Sunday mornings, especially in the summer, it gets tricky to park. “Best pizza in West Michigan hands down. Made to order out of super fresh ingredients. One of the top five pizzas I've ever had. Many other great entrees and appetizers as well, especially recommend brisket and mac and cheese or the brisket pot roast. Servers are prompt, attentive, and super friendly. Lots of great specialty cocktails. I've lived in West Michigan for over 20 years, and I can honestly say this might be my favorite bar/pub type eatery in this area. Highly recommend!”

“Sawyers is brewery at night & coffee shop in the mornings! Yummy lox bagel for breakfast. Nighttime has great live music. No onsite food at night, but you can bring in food, food truck outside sometimes or dog n suds across the street will deliver. Great locally owned place, owner often on site. Super friendly.”

“Cutest little bakery around! The young lady working was so sweet! She walked us through all of the available selections and gave us a take home recommendation of their English Muffin Bread which is the best bread for toasting I’ve ever had! We chose a custard long John and pumpkin cake donut with coffee. Great selection, the long John was fluffy and light and both were freshly made. The furniture was comfortable and great for enjoying the view of this quaint little town. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!”

“Father in laws favorite place. He thought they were closed drove past it and it was open so we had to stop. I have never been before. We order a mama whoppa sub and the papa whoppa sub. It was amazing. And super filing couldn't finish the whole sub. The kids loved it too. My father in law was super happy about it still being opened. Just wish they had better hours. He has thought they were closed for years.”

“The manager or owner was a great person, the service fast, I like to give a review while the are slammed to see how they can handle the pressure and keep the quality up. I'm very impressed! I brought in a van load of teens with 1 other van a total of 32 people. They worked fast and friendly with a great product! As a pizza owner myself in Brahman mi. I appreciate a place like BC pizza and I even took a lesson on how to make my service quick and keep the quality up. Great job ?”

Remembered a friend said her son worked in a salon and she ended up scheduling one for me at Kate's Place. Oh my goodness, best pedicure EVER and so appreciated how hard Crystal worked to hydrate my always cracked feet. Plus, the music and conversation was awesome. Had so much fun, didn't want to leave. I come up once a year and am hoping they'll be able to squeeze me in every time from now on.”

“I attended the White Lake Area Women's meeting at Sundance this past Monday. The banquet staff there that evening were awesome! We had a large group with many to serve. Staff were upbeat, courteous, very helpful and the food was off the charts awesome. Best beef dip and onion rings ever. Truly. Kudos to the bartender, weight staff and cooks. “Staff is amazing! Hands down great place to go.Parking: This is a drive thru only at a gas station, there is a huge parking lot and a walk up window. This is a small Biggby and usually only has a couple employees working so just be patient. An awesome crew though!”
