Gus's Carry Out New Hudson

maybe it's my fault for not paying attention. Just walked in from the howell location. so, was there at like 610pm. I ordered a full bag, and ranch. she gave me a half bag, and no ranch. I come here all the time, and I've never had this happen before. I'm a cook. I work as a cook professionally. I understand having a long day, or just a bad one. but come on. 10 dollars for half a bag of bread sticks and no ranch?

Always good, always consistent. Breadsticks are the best around. we had a non traditional Thanksgiving this year with Gus's Carryout.

Our order is missing bbq sauce for the ribs and a 12 ounce coleslaw… not happy that I paid for these items and didn’t get them. Be better about checking orders before you give them to your customers.

Everything we’ve ever ordered has been great! My personal favorite is the Italian sandwich. The 1lb lasagna meal w/salad and breadsticks for $20 is plenty to feed 3 people. The cheesecake portion for $7 is huge. Dinner AND dessert for 3, just under $30, can’t be beat!

The girls at the counter are the best. They may be young but there about there work and they will make sure your food is simply the best before you get it. Best beard sticks and mostaccioli in town.

Walked in this past weekend and ordered a salad to feed 8-10 people and a small pizza with 1/2 bags of of breadsticks. It was the last of the bread so they gave me the rest which was almost a full order. The owner was there, Peter, we talked while there and he was super sweet. The order didn’t take long and Peter helped me carry out my food.

Walked in to grab my food and ran into a snag with the phone, they helped me with a smile and made sure my food was fresh and ready for me. The food was delicious, breadsticks are unmatched! Best in Michigan easily

Ordered pepperoni, got home to this. If they delivered I would demand a replacement because my family isn't going to eat half this pizza since the sausage is impossible to pick off but not worth the drive back up. Guess I'll just keep eating local if the 30min round trip is going to result in this.

Gus's Carryout in New Hudson was an exceptional experience for MY WIFE & I! WE received incredible service from Sydney when WE originally arrived. One of the salads that WE wanted was sold out, & Sydney offered to go & make it right away! WE went to Walmart & returned & it was ready! The salads are incredible, very full, & almost running over! Alena assisted, also. Peter Ginopolis was Very attentive, asked if everything was O.K., & shared that He was the owner. They All were very helpful! Excited that this location is open now!!!

Vegetarian options: There are a number of salads that contain no meat, but because they offer to custom make the salads for You, even those that have meat can be done without the meat in it! Many other vegetarian menu items, also.

Parking: There is off-street parking available. Spaces are located on various sides of the establishment, with ample spaces available. There are also tables and chairs available outside!

Kid-friendliness: There are a number of kid friendly options on the menu, including a variety of pizzas, as well as chicken, etc. But, bring the whole family!

Wheelchair accessibility: Gus's Carryout in New Hudson is fully wheelchair accessible. Parking, as well as going inside.

Why 2 stars? Because although I want to give 1 or no stars, I am partly to blame. I ordered online on a Friday night at 4:10pm and set a pick-up time for 5:30pm. Arrived at 5:25pm. Order was ready and unfortunately very cold. It appears the order was prepared immediately without consideration of pick up time specified. That's on me - lesson learned. It appears the pizza was cooked well done, as requested. Thank you +1star. The bbq chicken sauce was not not bbq sauce, but a watery pink concoction that even turned the chicken pink. Are you adding water to the sauce? Overall very disappointing, but thank you for the lesson in take out ordering. For that, you get +1star. $18 for a cold specialty 12" pizza? Do better.

As a follow up to my previous review, I wasn’t pleased and do not leave a good review however; I want to say that the owner of this establishment is very caring and considerate about those who dine at this Gus’s location. He reached out to me and offered to make things right and he did! Our meal tonight was perfect, we were very pleased. Thank you very much!!
