Service was slow even though it was not busy. I ordered a breakfast pasty. Obviously frozen to microwave. The crust was under cooked and hard as a rock. Ate some of the inside, but was left hungry. Decided to take one of there cinnamon rolls to go. The server had a hard time finding one that was accessible. Never got one and left hungry. Off season and mid week is no excuse for what I encountered.
Was camping in Newberry, MI. Stopped in and had the enormous cinnamon roll which was delicious, then breakfast 2 more times. Huge portions and everything was delicious. Definitely worth the stop!!
My wife and I traveled to the area from West Central Indiana, to visit the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. On our way from our hotel in Brimley to the museum, we were desperately searching for a breakfast restaurant with very little luck. Checking Google, we found Zellers and were pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious, service was great, and prices were reasonable.
