I really wanted to like this place. I went to a tea party here as a guest and felt like it was not worth the $40+/person for a pot of tea and some snacks. One of my friends was also penalized with an unannounced cancellation fee since our party was only 6 people and not 7. A staff member (possibly the owner) accused one of my friends of cursing at another employee when we were trying to figure out where our party was supposed to sit. It was extremely awkward. I guess if you go just to buy the tea or are really into over paying for tea and snacks while getting yelled at, go for it. I do not recommend letting this place host any sort of formal party or shower. I hope this helps someone out that might potentially consider hosting an event here - go somewhere else.

Apothica is a gem of the Niles downtown strip. Everyone who works there that I've met so far is friendly and welcoming. The vibe of the establishment is inviting and inclusive. Extensive variety of loose leaf teas and a monthly changing menu mean you'll always find something new to try! Freshly baked goods daily as well. Stop in and give them a try!

This place feels like it's still trying to figure out its identity a little bit. Love that you get to pick your own tea glass, but then also milk and cream come in like beakers which is cool but it doesn't feel on brand for the China glasses which is weird. And some of the tables and atmospheric elements feel cheap. However, the tea is amazing. They have a huge selection which for a novice tea enjoyer is perfect! I feel like they're still working out some kinks considering I've gone and ordered the same thing twice and gotten different things both times despite ordering the exact same thing. Also, both times I've gone the pricing hasn't matched what's on the menu? I will keep going back to support this business to see how they grow.

Came in to buy loose leaf tea. They had a lot of great options and were even able to mix a particular flavor for me. The prices are reasonable and competitive with online tea prices.Parking: We managed to get a parking spot pretty easily, but if you go when downtown is busy, parking may be more difficult.

Absolutely love this place! We've been for afternoon tea with a large group and just lunch for 2. The apothecary tea shop vibes are on point. Pick your own teacup and enjoy some amazing food and tea. We always end up bringing home some loose leaf and they have some awesome locally made knick knacks.

Such a cute place! There is local art on the walls and all different kinds of tea sets. We got to choose our own teacup that spoke to us and then there is a huge, extensive list of teas to choose from. We did the high tea lunch which came with 2 pots of tea each and then a tea tray of savories, sandwiches, scones and sweets! The scones were absolutely the best part of the tray - delicious and served warm! I wasn't convinced I'd leave full but we definitely got more than enough I was satisfied. And they have a whole other side menu of all kinds of goodies! We got to chat with one of the pastry chefs who was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job, we liked her dessert best! Worth a drive out to Niles for a fun afternoon date and tea party ?. 10/10 would go back!

I absolutely LOVE this store! I am hooked! Me and my husband have gotten into handmade loose leaf teas and this is the BEST place in the area to get it! They have an ENORMOUS variety of loose leaf tea to choose from. The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable about the tea. And their prices are UNBEATABLE! They are so so affordable! The tea quality is sl far superior to any other tea in the area! I highly recommend stopping in. The atmosphere here is also extremely neat!

I'm from the south so this place was way more fancy than what I'm used to but the lady was nice and helped me pick out a nice sweet tea. Prices were a lot cheaper than I was expecting.

We had two little girls with us and they went above and beyond to make the tea party special for them. They made special penny jammers for the little girls and at the end they surprised them with tiaras to wear and take home. Our server was excellent and so kind to the girls and the food was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! Please treat yourself and book a high tea at Apothica.

Such a cute little tea spot. Love that they label all their teas with caffeine levels and how hot to boil the water when you purchase them. Will definitely come back when I'm in town again.
