Love the owner, very humble and inviting with a bit of humor ?. Food is always amazing. Wish I could get a rice milk off the truck...
El Amigo Pepe, also known as "Vecino e Amigo Pepe," is a restaurant that generally offers delicious Mexican food. However, there was one instance where a carnitas burrito had an overpowering cinnamon taste, causing it to be discarded. On a positive note, their pulled pork tacos have been highly praised, even comparing them to deep-fried flautas with cheese, which brought great joy to one customer. The sauce that accompanies their dishes is also noteworthy, being described as amazing.
Staff members are friendly, quick, and helpful, providing a nice and clean environment for dine-in or take-out orders. The hurache dish is mentioned as a great-sized, delicious option. The elote in a cup has good flavor but was a bit watery. Prices are reasonable, with examples given of $7 for a slice of pizza and $4 for flavored ice.
It is unfortunate that they will be closing their storefront to transition to a food truck, but customers look forward to following them on Facebook to find their location in the future.
