At the end of JUNE, we had a little party for my wife (birthday, mom's & great grandmom's day)... two granddaughters (mom's day) ... daughter in law (mom's & grandmom's day) and 1 more great grandmom (mom's and great grandma day) ! We got a large Mother's Day ice cream cake , It was very expensive and was not tasty as the cakes we got in the past ! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN !

This location is closed as of 2019. There are no plans to reopen it. There are two more Dairy Queen locations in Niles. Oak Street is open April - October and the US 31 Dairy Queen is open year round.

Lines seem to always be long. Workers have little patience with customers. Wish we could have a better experience but it always seems to go wrong.
Ordered 2 chocolate malts, one medium and one large, got served large chocolate malt and a medium marshmallow. ..said that is not right, the looked at receipt and said that is what you ordered...it was nasty..did not feel like arguing. .then the pulled pork sandwich was even nastier meat on a very small slider bun, with a dab of barbecue, bun tough and chewy...do not go to Niles dairy queen. ..minus 3 on stars
Every time we go there they are out of something. The last two times we have been there they have been out of chocolate ice cream. They are very slow and don’t care about it. This is why you should not just have kids seeking there alone! This place has really went down hill. By the time we even get out the driveway our blizzards turn to soup.
I like having a DQ close by but it's about to be more worth it to drive to state line. If it's not bad enough that you're out of ice cream, the high school employees offer terrible service. Cussing and yelling at each other while my blizzards sat waiting to be handed to me as the drive thru employee was struggling to even hear the customer and yet another employee just stood there. Apparently some adult or management supervision is needed.
