The service was good but the restaurant was cold, the food was super over priced for the quality, and both my husband I agreed dinner was just gross. I got the burrito and my husband got the prime burger. The bun was soggy and the meat very bland. My son who got pork chops said we should have just gone to Arby's. I work super hard for my money and dinner was a total waste of that money, this place went downhill big time since under new management. Missing the old menu.

Very slow paced. Wasn't busy and took over an hour for our food. Had to ask waitress to bring salads first before entrees. Didn't get the right sides that we ordered with our food. Drink refills were almost impossible to get. Over priced for quality of food. Will not be returning, I work in the for industry and am understanding, but this was just not smooth.

The staff were friendly but incredibly slow. Waitress seemed new but said she had served before, I found it hard to believe. Bartender was slow and training someone who didn't know how to pour a beer.

The menu was very small. The wait was forever and it wasn’t very busy, we had 5 different servers, I was ignored by one waiter when asked for extra silverware for my friends. The other i asked forgot. They did not ask me how I wanted my steak prepared. It overall was a bad experience. I work in food service so I’m very understanding. It takes a lot to make me leave a bad review cause I understand things happen but this place did not have it together. Will not be returning and that’s sad to say because it used to be a great place with great food.

Found another good place to eat. Everything was fresh, tasty and nice proportions. Also our server Jen was outstanding for service. We'll definitely be back.Came back 4 weeks later and out lunch was very good. We had the Cod fillets, clam chowder (excellent), the large plate of baked potato, chili and salad. All were very good and why we'll be back next time we're out this way shopping. Sorry I forgot to pic the Cod fillets but they were delicious.

They had a limited menu. They still had at least 2 vegan options. The vegan chili is delicious. The waitstaff and bartenders were very kind.

I have always loved The Nugget, always Great food and a cozy setting. However, I order a Chicken Wet Burrito, which is always excellent. I picked up the order took it home and it looked different? I cut into it and the chicken was shredded and over seasoned. The Burrito was stuffed with this meat - it was literally like someone open a packet of seasoning on this shredded (probably caned meat) from the taste. I called to find out what happen and I learned that The Nugget had been sold. New owners. Poor food quality - took it back -obtained refund and will not be going their again.
The “sweet” tea wasn’t sweet at all, it was disgusting and there was specks in my glass like it wasn’t cleaned before they served it..There were flies all over the restaurant and I’m pretty sure I saw a roach. It stinks in the restaurant I don’t even think they clean the kitchen at all or vacuum the floor and to top it all off the food was cold. Not to mention how dirty the men’s bathroom was. I won’t be back and I’m sure a lot of other people won’t after they go into that place they also don’t clean their menus their was food particles on my menu from the people before me. I’m utterly disgusted and won’t be back.

I don't have much to say about The Nuggett. There were a overabundance of elderly people dining here, so I'm guessing that's their main crowd? ??♂️ The food was okay. I got the steak sandwich with peppers and onions with cheese. Well, the steak was seasoned but the very little peppers and onions that were on the sandwich were not cooked with the steak which made it very dry! You get a cup of a jus, but the bread gets so soggy, then you have a hunk of dry meat with super soggy bread! I wasn't impressed enough to even take photos.

Ordered a burger off the vegan menu and it had ABSOLUTELY NO TASTE. It was disgusting and a tad bit colder than I would of liked, I was hoping for more flavor and have had other vegan burgers that were much better.

Sounds like years of having it look one way is going to change soon! If you want to remember this place as it was you better go soon and take picture of it! Change is good but will be sad to not see the natural wood interior anymore and bar the way it has been since the 80s!
