A pleasant spot for ice cream in downtown Niles.Swirlyz seems to emphasize their frozen yogurt, but they do have a few ice cream flavors, as well. The ice cream scoops are moderately-sized. The prices are rather high for the portions, but can be a nice treat for an occasion.It is just across the street from Niles' Riverfront Park, making parking pretty easily available and providing a great opportunity to enjoy your dessert outdoors.

This was a double scoop for 6.50$. This is a disappointment considering it took old boy 5 minutes to recognize we were even there. Then I was charged $6.50 for a double scoop when the cup looks like this.

A cute small froyo shop. It's good quality, but the selection is relatively small. However, it's a great deal--you pay by the size of the cup you get rather than the weight of it. Service was friendly.

The other night I have my dog with me, and one of the ladies at the shop was kind enough to make me a bowl and bring it out so that way my dog and I could enjoy it together! 10 out of 10 recommend
Visited Swirlyz on 6/28/23 with my grandson after a visit at the park. He can not have dairy so looks forward to your non dairy selection. Told the girl at checkout that we would love to sit outside but table was dirty. NO RESPONSE. A young family got up from inside table area and employee did not make any effort to clean their area. While we were enjoying our delicious treat employee is sitting at check stand applying oral medication to open mouth!! This person really should be retrained in all aspects of keeping things sanitary for the safety of your customers.
