This was our first time trying this place and it was awesome. We sat outside and had a great meal, in the breeze. Lol take-home boxes for what? It was relaxed, we were well cared for, and Abby went above and beyond for our son! Everything was delicious! From the cheese curds to the cherry cokes it all felt like soul food! It made for a wonderful evening!
Visited 6/2026 - I believe they were just getting things underway with new ownership (I'm not from the area, but have friends who know it somewhat well). They brought out tortilla chips with salsa and queso right off the bat, letting us know food might be a little delayed; very solid freebie/sentiment. But honestly, we had a party of 8, and timing was just fine. Got the brisket tacos with fries - both were solid. Tacos came with cole slaw, and were just smoky enough.

They have done an amazing job bringing this place back to life. The place is so clean and bright. The fish & chips, smash burger and friend pickles were really good. I was most impressed with the wonderful service we had. We will definitely be back.
