Great people and the food was very very good. Almost all the food is made from scratch so good things come to those who wait! This isn't fast food but it's it's well worth the wait

Grabbed 2 soups, 2 fish and chips, and some cookies to go. Everything was amazing, especially the fish and chips…absolutely perfectly cooked with the best little fried potatoes I’ve ever had. Will be back 😍

Worth it for the food.
I was here on June 24, 2025. It conditioned inside, but we ate outside under canopy. Its a place with its own personality, but friendly and welcome. Especially charming. Family friendly.
Food is made in the nearby food truck. I had Betty's? Salad. It was delicious! My friend had the Taco Salad and loved it.
The food wait was about 20-25 minutes. We were the only customers so that seemed a little long.
Would stop here again.

Deep fried saltiness. That what the pasties are.....very lite flavor other than salt and grease. Exceptionally overpriced food for the low quality of the product. The people are extremely friendly but the food is bad. Salads looked good so maybe all the five star reviews just had salads. The ice tea was good too. But the grease.....and the salt......

We have a family of 6 who are all awestruck by how good the food is and the service could not have been better or more friendly! We may just come back from downstate for the "Frenchie" and the chicken and chips! Thank you to our new friends at Around the Corner! 🤩

The BEST fish and chips. Waited with a beer at Mittens and they delivered the food to us...very nice delivery guy BTW.

We had a delicious lunch at Around the Corner! We had the veggie pastie, broccoli “wings”, grilled cheese sandwich and fish fillet sandwich. All super tasty! Loved the broccoli and the slaw! We sat outdoors, which was nice. Folks working there were very friendly. Really enjoyed eating there at Northport.

Took my guys out to lunch here and we all had burgers they were delicious. My only complaint is it took forever

Had the best salad I’ve had in the Leelanau peninsula for lunch today - the peachy goat! Those fried pistachio goat cheese balls are to die for. Fresh peaches and fennel too. I love the atmosphere and newly improved indoor seating. Will definitely be back :)

Best Fish + Chips this side of Lake Huron!

This is my favorite place to stop for a bite and then head to the Northport lakeside to eat.

Dietary restrictions: My wife is Celiac and she has not had an issue!

We were looking for a restaurant to check out this afternoon while visiting the beach. As we approach the front door, it became clear that this restaurant It's not a warm and welcoming place for all. The flags hanging at the door signaled support for a movement that calls for the demise and violent protest against Jewish people in those of Jewish descent as well as the state of Israel, which is the ancestral home of the Jewish people for thousands of years. We had several Jewish people in our party and felt clearly unwelcomed by this prejudicial establishment. It's appalling and abhorrent.
