“Came in for dinner and really enjoyed the warm, classic tavern environment. The servers are wonderfully welcoming, and listening to stories from the locals at the bar is easily the best part of being here.

As for the meal, the food was alright—perfectly fine tavern fare, though the prices feel a bit steep for what you get. You're definitely paying a bit of a premium for the location, but the cozy vibe, friendly service, and local charm make it a fun spot to sit down, grab a drink, and catch up.”

“Green Bird is a little slice of Heaven! They even practice sustainable farming via their “flerd“ (flock of chickens and herd of sheep) who rotate through each row of vines. I sat down and immediately signed up for the wine club because I knew this was something I wanted to support! And yes, the server was new this season but very knowledgeable and warm. No high-brow wine snobbery here! P.S. wine and cheese pairings are fantastic.”

“I've been to a lot of breweries but I couldn't wait to leave this one fast enough. The place was very dirty and run down. I'm an outdoor person but I couldn't walk through the joint without nats flying up my nose. There were bags of trash next to our table. The floors were covered in dirt and weeds outside. They obviously take no pride in their bulding and land. The beer was good, but didn't mind the extra protein. I never leave reviews, but I had too. The two stars are for the beer and the pizza looked good. Although there were some definite health code violations with the food. It would take so little to make this place great. Definitely disappointed.”

Walking in, I was a bit nervous, minimal design and white are not always the best for our energetic family. 3 vanilla steamers, 2 good lattes for mommas, and a calm welcoming spot with a deck of old maid and wooden toys is what our family needed. “We ate here about an hour before a concert so we were expecting a long wait for not only a table but hour meals. Turns out wasn't the case, there were plenty of tables/booths. Food is sort of what you would expect a casino/burger bar but a better. Had plenty of options, including daily specials. Service was quick and helpful. Thank you again!”

“The rooms are filled with a tv, microwave, toaster, utensils, coffee pot, the beds and pillows were comfy and a great nights rest. The view is a 1000% Awesome. The hospitality and generosity was outstanding. everything was clean and well maintained! Highly recommend this place. If money was no object, I would never leave. I fell in love with this place and I definitely will be back!! they trusted us and we trusted them. it's hard to find genuine people these days and the owners definitely showed us that there are still kind people around!! “My wife and I tonight celebrated our anniversary by driving up to Omena to go to Knot just A Bar. The location right on the water was a drawing card, as well as being a sister to Rico's. I ordered the whitefish parmesan and my wire, the salmon. Portions were good sized, tastes were superb, and our server very attentive to our needs. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant , Nautical, on the water. A must stop if you/re looking for a restaurant in the greater Grand Traverse /Leelanau area .You won't be disappointed!!”
