Fischer’s is the best. From the chili, to the chicken, to the French dip, and *drumroll please* the ever life changing sanders cream puff, which my 98yo grandfather requested regularly…Fischer’s is/was/will be a staple for this family.
Yes, just yes. Normal food done really well at the only reasonable price within miles. Best sweet potato fries, kind and efficient staff and INCREDIBLE chocolate cake that is so rich and divine.

A leelanau county gem of an OG tavern. I’ve been eating here since before I can remember, I loved this place as a kid and now my kids love it also, pretty cool! It’s out in the sticks a bit but the drive there and back is beautiful!
