We had a lovely lunch on the porch of Fischer’s Happy Hour Tavern. My friend really enjoyed the special fried chicken. It was fresh and crispy and accompanied by really well made Cole slaw and crispy fries. I enjoyed the turkey Reuben along with my friend’s husband. Was down near Northport for work, my dad and I stopped in at lunch on a whim. Super cool spot! Genuinely wish I lived closer and could come here more often, will be stopping in next time I'm down for work. We both had the walleye sandwich which was incredible, piece of quality fish on a bun, can't go wrong. Beer was cold, bartender Ian was awesome. Would absolutely stop in again.
Kelly was a great server. All staff were very happy and friendly and attentive. Food was excellent… best clam chowder— exceptionally creamy. Walleye was awesome! Definitely a local hang out but they are very welcoming to tourists!
