“We had a lovely lunch on the porch of Fischer’s Happy Hour Tavern. My friend really enjoyed the special fried chicken. It was fresh and crispy and accompanied by really well made Cole slaw and crispy fries. I enjoyed the turkey Reuben along with my friend’s husband. The turkey was fresh and the coleslaw and Thousand Island dressing were the perfect complement in the fresh rye bread. Ian, our sever, was knowledgeable and attentive. This is a great place to stop if you’re driving between Leland and Northport.”

“Green Bird is a little slice of Heaven! They even practice sustainable farming via their “flerd“ (flock of chickens and herd of sheep) who rotate through each row of vines. No high-brow wine snobbery here! P.S. wine and cheese pairings are fantastic.”

“Very good wines. Had a flight of wine. 3 were dry white and one dry red. All were very good, a surprising blend of Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay was very good. Hadn't been there in a while, was glad we revisited. Will not wait as long between visits.”

“Truly a special meal. This was BETTER than the photos. Every single thing we ate (baked mozzarella, parfait, salmon Benedict, apple pancake) was so incredibly delicious. Honestly the best meal of the trip. Service was also wonderful. So glad we made the trip out here.”

“We are locals and frequent Hawkin’s Farm Cellars a lot. The service is friendly and the Thai food is exceptional. My husband especially loves the Pad Thai chicken and I am a huge fan of the Green Curry dish. You could literally close your eyes and just point to anything on the menu and never be disappointed!”

“I've been to a lot of breweries but I couldn't wait to leave this one fast enough. The place was very dirty and run down. I'm an outdoor person but I couldn't walk through the joint without nats flying up my nose. There were bags of trash next to our table. The floors were covered in dirt and weeds outside. They obviously take no pride in their bulding and land. The beer was good, but didn't mind the extra protein. I never leave reviews, but I had too. The two stars are for the beer and the pizza looked good. Although there were some definite health code violations with the food. It would take so little to make this place great. Definitely disappointed.”

“Hop Lot is one of my favorite breweries that I have been to! I live in mid Michigan and try to make it there at least once a year.
Their beer garden is just beautiful! If it is warm out, they have tables with umbrellas and if it is colder out, they have fire pits, which are perfect to sit by to warm up and eat or drink by!
Their beer is awesome and the food is great too!
If you have not been here, you definitely need to go at least once!”
