Welcome back! One of Leelanau counties favorite. Great drinks, service, and food!
I always order the white fish plate. It is delicious. One time there was no Whitefish and I had to settle for the Lake Perch. It was outstanding.
The bar there opens up to the outside and its next to the river. Nicely modern without feeling too stark. I would definitely reccomend and the server, Mike, was great!

Blue Bird of Leland offers warm, welcoming service and a beautiful waterfront view. The bar area is spotless and well organized. Meals include the croissant fish sandwich, which did not disappoint, the best pizza ever had, and the best fried chicken in Northern Michigan. After being closed for years, the restaurant is in a new building on the river. The location couldn’t be better.
