“Riverside Inn was the perfect place for us to stay for our mini honeymoon. Very cute room, comfortable bed, and the food was so delicious!

Rooms: Very cute comfortable room - we reserved the king size.

Nearby activities: Wine Tasting, shopping, fishing, etc.

“On the water (river) in Fishtown. Very limited menu, sit in shade or sun riverside next to the Leland dam, and part of historic Fishtown. For more extensive menu, go upstairs to the Cove.
Grilled chicken sandwich is great here. Ask for added grilled onions, and home-made habanero hot sauce...delicious! Smoked Whitefish patè and fish chowder are great. Burgers, cherry chicken salad wrap, and a few others. Alcohol served. For fries you have to go upstairs...chips only at Rick's.
5 stars because it is a must go to venue on a pretty summer day.“

“Everything was wonderful. The staff, front desk, restaurant, etc. Everyone was so friendly. We loved the room, the “extras”. Our twins loved the cookies and the chocolates by the bed. It’s nice to see an establishment going above and beyond for guests, after seeing so many others cut back and stop doing extras. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only regret was not being able to stay longer. We hope to come up to your property again in the near future. We will be telling all of our friends about our wonderful stay! Thank you for everything. Keep up the great work.“

“We were up north for our annual color tour and decided to stop here for dinner.
Nice place! Really liked the atmosphere. They have a couple TV's set up in case you want to watch some sports while you eat. I think the best thing we got was the arancini my wife got. That was really good.
The flank steak was good. Ribs were pretty good. My friend said his perch was ok“

“Stopped in for a Sunday breakfast while vacationing in northern Michigan at this downtown Sutton's Bay eatery. There was comfortable seating inside and out on the patio. The ambiance was warm, with touches of humor incorporated in the decor (note the framed picture over the fireplace when you visit). We dined in the very relaxing atmosphere filled with quiet recorded jazz and happy patrons' conversations. The service was friendly and excellent. Our breakfasts were delicious! My partner's Eggs Benedict disappeared as did my Cherry Cream French Toast with fresh black and red raspberries crowning it off. We will DEFINITELY stop here again! Highly recommend it! Notes: While we did not order drinks aside from coffee, note the drink menu image. And, as we left, we spotted a notice of future live jazz combo appearances.“

“We had our reception dinner at Fischer's Happy Hour Tavern. Kristi helped us get everything set and their restaurant was that perfect small town bar/diner feel. They made us all feel like part of the family and were so accommodating. The food was wonderful! I would lie if I said I didn't sample a little of everything. The broasted chicken and fried fish were some of my favorites!! Thank you for the wonderful evening!!!!“

“Unbeatable outdoor atmosphere/ beer garden on a nice day. During this visit, the staff seemed friendly and accommodating, but spread very thinly considering the crowd, but their self-service hospitality model seems to help ease this.

Hop Lot’s seasonal brews are always really good, and this visit didn’t disappoint!“

“Fantastic atmosphere, great staff but most of all BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD!! The Reuben pizza is unique and amazing! Reubens are my favorite sandwich but next time I want one I will be getting this pizza instead! Loaded with toppings! The flavor is amazing. The sauce has a hint of sweetness that adds the perfect compliment to this amazing pizza. We also got an order of cheese breadsticks and the spicy breadsticks. Both we're just as good as the pizza. Market 22 is our new favorite pizza place!!“

“The food was great and our service was great! Those things are earning the recommendation…. We dined here on April 1 (first day of spring break) at approximately 2:00-3:00PM. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. The bartender was BUSY!! The place got progressively busier while we were there. There were two other employees that appeared to be not busy, at all. So much so that we observed one, sometimes both, standing, holding up a counter, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the bartender was running his fool head off. When we left, there were at least 4 people that were bowling, waiting at the end of the bar, to get refills on their drinks. The bartender was running around helping other customers and one of the previously mentioned employees was leaning against the opposite end of the bar, DOING NOTHING! I have worked in the restaurant industry for many, many years and I would be livid if this situation were happening to me. Even if these two employees have other roles, not allowed to run the computer/register/whatever, I’m fairly certain it would be ok for them to wash their hands and fill waters, refill soft drinks, etc. Anything would be helpful for this poor guy who, from the eyes of customers, is doing all of the things while another employee does nothing.“
