My favorite brewery. The beer, the food, the music are all consistently excellent. But it's the awesome, happy staff and the gorgeous outdoor seating area carved out of the forest that make Hot Lop so special. We drive 90 minutes just to go there.
This is one of our favorite breweries. The beer garden is amazing. They have fire pits, plenty of tables, conversation areas, a stage and wild hops growing. Inside they have cool merch for sale. The food is good! We've only had apps, but we've been happy with them. The beer is good too. It's a fun day trip from Traverse City. We like to stop into town and visit the beach when we're there.

I can’t visit the TC/Sutton’s Bay area without a stop at Hoplot. The beer is tasty, the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting and the staff is friendly and helpful.Definitely a place you can bring kids too also or just enjoy some time with your significant other or friends.
