We've been there twice now. Attractive restaurant. Service has yet to catch up, very slow! Appetizers, not bad. Brisket sandwich, well smoked but puny. Whitefish sandwich, don't, instead run to the Cove. Spinach Salad with Salmon, underwhelming. Didn't try, but the pizza looks amazing. The river view is beautiful, at least distracts from the food and service. I'm hoping they make adjustments, could be an epic stop while up in Leland.
First visit at Bluebird since their re-opening (and ever, actually) and really enjoyed it! Best dinner option in the area for the cost and we’ve tried it all. A wide variety of options for food to suit many tastes and great options for drinks. Our table collectively ordered the quesadilla, club sandwich, burgers, Caesar salad, BBQ brisket sandwich, and cheese curds as an app (especially delish BTW) and everything was great. Better than average for this genre of food....
My wife and I recently stopped in for a quick date night while on a family vacation to Leland. There was a storm rolling in, so unfortunately, we weren’t able to sit outside, which was a bummer because their patio area looks amazing and sits right on the river between the lakes. They do have a really nice indoor/outdoor bar setup, though!
