Love the ambiance here. It's comfortable, well lit, and even for being so busy the noise doesn't get too out of control. Pretty unique interior design that has history to it. I ordered the reuben and it wasn't my favorite. It was one of the more expensive items on the menu so I wouldn't recommend it as theres plenty of other options. Service was quick and friendly.
Prices are fair, food is fantastic, best eggs Ive ever had, fantastic housemade strawberry jam for toast, and homemade bread, service is good, long wait times for a table. As per a previous review I read, they do indeed add a convenience fee to the final bill. I believe we spent about $50 for a table of 3 and the cost of the convenience fee was around $1.50. It doesnt break the bank but it is unexpected.
Place is great I quit going to my regular spot for this place. The only reason this is getting a 4 instead of a 5 star is, there should be 0 reason as to why I can’t trade my unwanted meat item for some toast without it being an up charge or simply stating owners rules. Meat is more costly than bread and blew my mind I couldn’t remove a meat item and replace with bread. I would understand if I had wanted meat instead of bread.
