This is my favorite restaurant in the world!! I was devastated to hear that they were temporarily closed??? and I hope they have a re-opening soon, because I have been missing their food. This whole restaurant offers an amazing experience that invites you to indulge in this wonderful culture. The location is not the best, because it is in an abandoned mall and it was one of the only things still open there. However they have lots of parking space and it’s fairly easy to find. The food here is truly unique, I’ve had lots of Korean barbecue in my life but this place takes the cake! It is an absolute gem and I hope to have this food soon!!Vegetarian options: Korean food has a lot of vegetables to begin with, so there are many options that are vegan and vegetarian friendly.Parking: The parking lot can be hard to find, but there are many rows and available parking spots.Kid-friendliness: This place is very welcoming, however when it comes to kid friendly you have to think about the open grill that is displayed on most of the tables. If you’re going there for anything else besides Korean barbecue you’re 100% fine, however depending on the kids age the grill could be an issue.Wheelchair accessibility: This place has lots of tables and I’m sure they’re able to accommodate wheelchair accessibility.

Underwhelming. Entree options apart from bbq are limited. Appetizers were good but bibimbap and udon were extremely bland. Portion sizes a bit small for the price. Seafood very chewy and low quality. Waitress wasn’t very nice either.

Bibimbap is just the beginning. Korean and Japanese faire are featured and done extraordinarily well. The octopus and squid are just incredible. Nothing on this menu is anything but near perfect.

Super great place! When my friend and I went the power went out and the staff was very nice about it. They were very attentive, even offering us free drinks because the pop machine had gone down. The staff was very very friendly, I was surprised more people weren’t in there when we went because the food was awesome and the people were great!

I've been working in the area for a long time, never tried it until recently. I don't get the negative reviews. Friendly staff, delicious flavorful food. Best miso soup I've had. And I got the Bibimbap dinner, absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it.

My fiancé and I love this place. Good food but even better service. Ms. Yu is AMAZING! She doesn't skip a beat! She makes sure everyone is well taken care of and she treats everyone with care. We only come on days she's there. So good food but great service by Ms. Yu and Marley. - TJ & James
We stopped tonight for some BBQ, and it was a fantastic meal. We ordered Bul ko ki, chal dol, chicken, and pork. The meat was excellent with great flavor and the sides were quite tasty. The staff is always excellent and very friendly. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

The food was very good fun experience to cook yourself on a grill in the center table. The faultie was the service, prompt but very rude and she did not even offered us a dessert menu which we most likely would have ordered from. She never refilled our drinks and she shavel the bill under our eyes before we even finished our dinner. Good but awful service

I chose this restaurant specifically based on their menu online. When I arrived, the staff told me the lunch specials no longer exist and that the online menu was wrong. The food was good, but not what I was expecting. The staff rarely spoke to us.

I would absolutely not recommend this place. We got invited to this place by friends only because they couldn't get us in the restaurant they originally planned to go. This 1-star experience started right as we were seated. We were a party of 7 - that is 6 adults and 1 child, and given a table by the wall that sat 6 people. We were tight elbow to elbow. We brought up the issue to one of the staff members, she said there was no other tables and that we had to wait for an hour for the next one. There was one table - next to ours, that could fit us all and we asked if we could take it. The answer was no. After pointing out that we had a child in our party, she agreed to us moving to that table. Our server was not the politest- rushed us to order our food, rudely dropped straws as we asked for our drinks, did not even explain the menu to some who had never been to a kbbq. Now let's talk about the food. Forget gettig the world famous bibimbap. Bland, no taste, poorly prepared. The egg saved it - or it would just be a bowl of fried rice and some greens. Absolutely not world famous at this Yelp 3.5 star place. Kbbq has not even marinated, it was just plain meat and you would have to figure out the spicesand portions were questionable. At $34-36 per plate, these were small servings. We are going to Daebak Kbbq by Southfield next time. A little bit of drive for us but better sized servings and way nicer staff.

We didnt come here a second time because we wanted fast food chick filet is near by if we did. The place was not busy and for a saturday night perhaps they are struggling. Rushing the customers in an out might be a good strategy when the patrons still have money to spend, we did. There are other places in the area. Mgt if your reading, please this do better!
