Big Tommy's Parthenon & Comedy Club

I’ve been here several times. The last time was in April 2025. We ordered a glass of tomato juice and a white Russian from the waiter in the comedy club. He returned quite a while later, to tell us he did not have either of those things. Now, when we ate at the restaurant upstairs before the show, I confirmed with the bartender that he indeed had plain tomato juice available. They also had the ingredients, I’m sure, for a white Russian in the upstairs bar. Can you imagine how much business you’re missing just because a waiter didn’t want to go upstairs and get two common drinks? Just a thought.

Great food! Comedy show was amazing too! That comedian called Ron Rigby was fricken hilarious! 🙂
But seriously, the food here is incredible! If you haven't tried yet, get over there!

The food wasn't good the spanakopita wasn't fresh,the Opa wasn't set on fire nor was pita given, nor was the bread basket, the Michigan Salad didn't taste good, the cherries were good & tangy. The young men waitpersons seem to be unfamiliar with large parties. The lower level room was cold, my feet was really cold along with my arms the weather was 30's.

My husband and I expected to have a nice dinner for Valentines Day. They offered a dinner for two special.. We waited for 2 hours for the food to come out only to be burnt and dry. We spoke with the manager, and it didn't seam to bother her when we complained. I post a picture of the food I received. We spent $80.00 for something that wasn't fit to eat. I ask for a box to take home to my dog. Then, I decided to share my experiences. The way it looks in the box is the way it came to our table on the plate. This is supposed to be a bone in Filet Mignon.

Went for a Xmas party dinner. All the servers were amazing and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the flaming cheese, greek sausage , and lamb sliders for appetizers. All very yummy. I will be going back for the sliders as just my meal. They were perfection. We also had the lamb chops. Cooked beautifully, but I feel I needed a sauce for them. The sides were very yummy, too. Rice, veggies, and potatoes were seasoned very well. I will say the desserts were not very good, not bad, just mid. We tried the cheesecake and carrot cake. Carrot cake was definitely the better of the two, but we will be back.

Stopped by for dinner. Dissappointed. Service was great. Food was mediocre. The Cold Octopus appetizer was the only thing I enjoyed. The Moussaka left much to be desired. The pasta lemonata was overcooked and bland.

I have been there several times. The food is very good. However, i had a reservation for over 20 people that was made far in advance. When the party arrived, we were crowded at different tables in the corner. When the manager was approached, she couldn't be bothered and was very dismissive and would not accommodate the reservation as originally promised. I would not recommend this restaurant for a party. It was a disappointing restaurant for a gathering.

Was there for the first time last night with my husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law and it was incredible!! Our server, Caesar was the best!

Good food, reasonably priced, the servers really hustle.

I used to go here a couple times a week for lunch when I worked in the area. It's been a few years and I went back during dinner time and the menu is completely differen than for lunch. No biggie: I told the server I would come back for lunch because I didn't want to eat off the dinner menu. He seemed a bit annoyed at that which wasn't cool but I'm still giving it a 4-star rating because I used to enjoy going there.

Great place to come for a great meal well, you know you’ll end up paying more but the food is definitely worth it and the atmosphere is comforting. I got the lamb chops and I really did enjoy it. Could’ve been a little better but still great!

Would definitely recommend coming for a nice outing.

I have always had the best experience at Big Tommy's until last night! I mostly order their lamb chops as they have been always#1 But, last nite I brought a friend to experience how good they were only to be very disappointed! I ordered the lamb chops and when they came out it looked like a pile of bones with about a half dollar piece of meat on them! I told the waitress and she agreed that they looked pretty small and said they could give me a extra one to compensate for the size. So, she brought the extra one out and it into it and it was completely raw! Not sure what's going on but, with that price and portion size I will not be returning.

The best Greek restaurant bar none in Michigan .. I can eat there once a week if money wasn't an issue . The flavors , portions, pricing, the owner and his staff are top-notch . I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone reading this review..

Atmosphere and service is very good and family friendly. Simple food but not authentic greek, portion size is negotiable, tastes average and food is expensive. Still recommended to at least give it a try.
