KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

Out for my birthday and daughter trying some new experience. One of the bbq grill had electric fire. Blue light smoke fire. So they shut done the whole table. They tried fixing table while our food just sat not cooking. Had to wait for new table then move food drinks. I don’t think I will go back.

We were celebrating two birthdays this evening,
during dinner our table had an electrical fire underneath it. Instead of moving are party of 6 immediately they tried to repair.
We were moved eventually, when the bill came they did not offer any discount!

Rushed us out on a Saturday. Wasn’t a great experience, some small things that could have been better. Our waiter said this day was his first day…

Horrible. Never going back. Stale food sitting out. I may try the one in Sterling Heights because they have better reviews. Gratuity added and waiter doesn't even do much at all. Barely wanted to help.

Vegetarian options: Each person gets their own hot pot, so vegetarians don't need to worry about cross contamination. However, grilling veggies does compete with folks grilling meat, but the staff can swap out grill tops to accommodate.

This is one of best place in Novi to have a family lunch or dinner. I tried all the options 1. Soup + bbq 2. Just soup 3. Just bbq.
Soup option stood out. Easy to order using the gadget. Friendly staff. You have decent varieties of food.

I had a terrible experience at KPOT. The staff was incredibly rude, constantly watching our table and making passive-aggressive comments as if we were wasting food. Instead of providing good customer service, they made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We were paying customers, yet they treated us like we were doing something wrong. The whole experience was frustrating, and I definitely won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other hot pot places with better service!

Amanda was amazing:) she was such a great help. This was our first time eating here. I’ve been to most hotpot restaurants, but I think this was one of the best experiences I had especially with Amanda as our waitress:)

Bad dont waste your money coming here bad customer service. The prices are wrong not come here. Did not have toilet paper. Don’t come here

Great food, Horrible service. And not from our waitress but from management. I get the bill then ask for military discount and show my ID. When the bill is updated with the discount I saw my bill was 10$ more expensive. Come to find out the manager added a gratuity for a party of 6 or more (only me and my wife present) along with my discount. When I ask my waitress about this she brings it to her manager who then says “if we give them a discount we have to add an 18% gratuity”. I ask to see the manager and after 15 minutes the server comes back and says the manager is not going to come so she just fixed it. Also they tried to charge us for a waste charge without letting us know that was a thing before hand even though they asked if I have been there previously. Will not be supporting this business any further.

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK WHAT THEY CHARGE YOU FOR. I had a fun experience going for the first time. Service was quick and I enjoyed trying all the different foods you could order. What wasn't ok was my 2 friends ordered strawberry margaritas, when the bill came we saw it was $30 for the 2 margaritas. When we questioned our waiter she said that was the price of the ultimate margaritas. No one said 'ultimate' when they orderd the drinks they just said strawberry margaritas. They orderd the $10 margarita not the $15 ultimate margarita. When the manager or whoever he was came over to speak to us he was very rude and acted like we were trying to pull one over on him. When he made the adjustment he said 'you got a really good deal on your ultimate margaritas' tossed his card reader on the table in an obviously rude way and then walked away. When they got their bills it still wasn't right, he charged them $12 each for the drinks when they should be $10. At that point we were over it and didn't want to deal with him again so they just paid. The waitress that was helping us the whole time was very nice but that man was so rude. Not sure if I will go back but if I do ill make sure to double check what they are charging us. I contemplated leaving a review but i think the way we were treated was uncalled for, we were never rude to any of the staff and didn't deserve to be made to feel like we were stealing or something. I hope that man is not the owner and was just the manager on duty for the night and is spoken to on how to properly handle a situation like this. I dont think $10 was worth him acting like that when it wasn't even something we ordered. We ate there on 2/28/25 around 4pm.

K-Pot never fails to amaze us! Front desk was very patient and helpful (visited on a busy day), and we were sat within an hour. Came here to celebrate an anniversary! Love all the hot pot and BBQ options. They have a selection of fruits and sweet treats by the sauce bar to grab after your meal!

The wait was long but the food was amazing. So I would just prepare for that. Service was fast. I love how we could order refills at on table tablet, and was delivered within a few minutes. Everything was delicious, the meat and vegetables were fresh.

Amanda at KPot Novi was fantastic today! Super attentive and helpful. We love coming here anyway but she gave us a great experience!
