Real food for the price of fast food. None of that plastic store bought food full of preservatives and std medication (BHT)

If you never tried this cocktail straight from Lebanon, you are missing out this is avocado, banana, smoothie topped with sweet clotted cream “Kashta” and drizzled with honey. It’s amazing!!! These guys really know how to treat their guests. Also there food is fresh to order grilled meats and baked goods. Novi’s hidden gem!

This is my absolute FAVORITE place to eat. The food is always fresh, and the service is top-notch. They recently renovated (which wasn't necessary). I've been going here for over 5 years, and I have never had anything less than stellar. I've actually had several friends and family members who drive from other towns to eat here.

As someone who is used to the more traditional Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurants. This place is definitely the polar opposite. I got a falafil shawarma sandwich. They build the sandwich in front of you like they do at Subway. The sandwhich was really bland and not great. It wasn't anything to talk about. On top of that, I paid $14 for one shawarma and a small cup of soup. Incredibly overpriced.Any local traditional mediterranean/lebanese restaurant I can get a full plate of food, salad and bread for the price I paid for this single shawarma and soup. I don't see myself returning to La Vie Mediterranean Grill.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'm shocked this place is so highly rated. I grew up on Iraqi and Lebanese food. Worst tasting, overpriced chicken shawarma I've ever had. It costs $12.40 per chicken shwarma sandwich. Chicken was cold, bland, and dry. Tasted like cumin and no other seasoning; the texture seemed like canned chicken. Piece of hair on my sandwich foil.Ordered chicken shawarma with extra garlic sauce and all the toppings. The sandwich has extra sauce (a bit too much mayo in the garlic sauce), chicken, tomato, lettuce, raw white onion, pickles, no pickled veggies, just pickles. Told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived in exactly 15 minutes. When I requested my order, person behind the counter placed my wrapped up sandwich in a sandwich press. The way the sandwich was pressed made all of the toppings and the sauce push to one side of the sandwich and all the chicken push to the opposite side. Based on the white piece of hair on my foil, I suppose someone with strands of gray hair prepared my sandwich. They hand out punch cards to earn a free shawarma. I wouldn't eat there again for free.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! I was doordashing today & got an order for this spot! As soon as I walked in there, I was overwhelmed with how amazing it smelled in restaurant and how great the food looked. So I told my boyfriend we’re getting dinner here tonight, and let me say we were not disappointed! The food was phenomenal… and the portions were huge! The guys working we’re super nice and welcoming too! We will definitely be back, best Mediterranean food we’ve had in a long time!

First, I want to say that I never write reviews, but Nour, his brother and their restaurant deserve my few minutes. I have eaten at La Vie for at least 7 years and the food is always good, but on Saturday we used them to cater my 50th birthday party. My wife and I enjoy hosting and we received so many compliments on the food, and at a better price then almost anywhere else. If you have never liked falafel you should try theirs, its delicious, and in my opinion the best fattoush salad in the Metro Detroit area. As always thanks for the great food.Vegetarian options: Falafel and fattoush salad are the best.
