Very interesting menu and excellent service. The waitresses were very friendly and took time to explain the dishes. As it was the end of the lunch service we just ordered a meat bento box and the spicy Yanyeum fried chicken. Both dishes arrived quickly and we're delicious. The chicken portions were enough for 2 meals. We loved the authentic interior with souvenirs from Japan and Korea. The lady owner has travelled widely, is extremely passionate and is very keen to share her culinary experiences with clients. I highly rate this restaurant and will definitely eat here when I'm next in Cheltenham.

didn't know a lot about what I was ordering but just be adventurous and it will surprise you. very tasty. very friendly and had a great meal for everyone (even the fussy eaters) and in time for the theatre. wine and larger was good as well.

Team were short staffed the night that we were there, but for 2 people, they were whizzing around with smiles and looking after everyone, whilst being very apologetic. They needn't have been - our service was absolutely fine and the food was amazing as always!

Our server was slow and did not appear knowledgeable with regards to the menu. We ended up under ordering. Cooking the food was challenging, everything just stuck to the grill, there were no oils and the tongs provided did not grip the meat. The meat quality was not great either. Such a shame, I had eaten here a year ago and loved the food, the theatre, etc... I'm afraid to say has gone downhill all around

Best Japanese restaurant I've been to in the metro detroit area. Its self serve with paper slips, hence the 4 stars on service, and you need to put ur own dishes away but its super easy so whatever. Everything ive had has been amazing so try something new.

We saw this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. The food was ok but the restaurant felt sketchy and thrown together by someone who has no experience running a restaurant. Once we put in our order, the order came out piecemeal, I received my food after about 5 minutes, but my partner's food took around 20 minutes. We saw multiple people who put their orders in well after us get their food before our order was complete. Also, the prices on their website are cheap, but when you arrive, the prices are significantly higher! For the type of experience this place offered, these prices are way to high. I would suggest trying a different Japanese restaurant if your in the mood for Japanese food.
