For an upscale hotel the restaurant service was lackluster at best. A waiter came over to my table, dropped a menu and disappeared. I waited at least 10 minutes than waved down a waitress who finally took my order. She never came back to ask if the food was okay, which it was. She finally came back to ask if I wanted a refill on my ice tea which I said yes. Than never brought it.

We had Mother’s Day brunch here a the food was amazing. Everything was great. Potatoes seasoned right, filet was cook medium, with an exquisite gravy. Chicken and vegetables were also good. The waitress and staff was attentive and served us some very delightful strawberry mimosas. Over the experience was very good!

A restaurant that's in a hotel can be very hit or miss. This place was definitely that over our several day stay here. They do a good breakfast buffet, don't offer lunch, and the dinner we had was really not great. Our server was on the slow side. BUT, the bar staff was amazing, especially Tamika and Clare. My suggestion would be breakfast here and dinner elsewhere. Definitely drinks at the bar. They also managed to run out of French fries two days in a row when we were there.

My wife and I enjoyed the delicious chef prepared food. We shared a roasted Brussels sprout appetizer that truly starred the great taste of the sprouts. We both had the beer batter fried shrimp dinners. These were the absolute best fried shrimp we ever had. The coating is a perfect balance of taste and crispiness allowing the tender, high quality shrimp to shine. My wife loved her Moscato Wine. Waiter Charles gave us the most attentive and complete service we have had in years.

The Lobby Bar is the only restaurant inside the Sheraton in Novi, Michigan. The dining room was closed and appeared only operational for breakfast. At the Lobby Bar, they were out of several of the wines on the wine list. I ordered the Chandon sparkling wine. Chandon is an average mass-market sparkling wine. I was told they were out of it. The only options were Ruffino prosecco and Salmon Creek sparkling wine from California. Ruffino is pretty low-end. I've seen it at gas stations. Salmon Creek is even worse. It may even be worse than Barefoot. If it sells for more than $4 a bottle, I'd be surprised. Just an awful wine. The rest of the wines on the wine list were mediocre grocery store wine brands. Nothing great but at least drinkable. However, prices were high. $20 for a glass of Wente chardonnay -- a chardonnay that sells for $11-$13 by the bottle. That's highway robbery, even by hotel prices. When I got my bill I noticed I was overcharged by $4 per glass of wine. That's not an insignificant amount. Additionally, the price for the caesar salad with salmon was incorrect. I pointed this out to Tamika and she responded by calling me rude because I said I was overcharged. Her colleague came over and sorted it out. But that was just so unprofessional. So, check your bill against the listed prices on the menu. At breakfast, the buffet in the restaurant was on the lower end of the spectrum. No smoked salmon and no cheeses. No fresh juices. Just what appeared and tasted like bulk sugary juices. No egg station for eggs made to order. There didn't seem to be an ala carte menu. I didn't see any ketchup or honey. The waiter poured me a cup of coffee and never bothered to refill it or come by except to give me the bill for $16 and change. For $16, you can get a better breakfast at the McDonald's across the street.

This is actually just a large bar in the lobby of the restaurant, but the seating area is large and it is not unpleasant to have dinner here. I ordered salmon and it was cooked very well. They have a good staff at the bar and their cocktails are also good. If you're staying at the hotel and considering eating dinner here, I would definitely give it a shot.

The staff was very friendly. The steak was dry and too well done, the vegies were not readly cooked, mash potatoes were good. Got a discount on the not ok steak 1/2 prices off. But i think they do not have a motivated cook.
