Blatantly RACIST towards Black, Indian, and Hispanic people! When I complained to management about the poor service and treatment, we were dismissed with an indifferent "oh well." Never in my life have I experienced such unprofessionalism and outright bigotry. Stay far away from this place—it has completely gone downhill. You’d expect a minority-run Japanese restaurant to treat other minorities with respect, but that’s not the case here. The restaurant was practically empty, yet all the minorities present exchanged looks of disbelief as non-minorities received faster service and better attention. Unacceptable!

While the food and service at this restaurant are undeniably excellent, I was shocked and disappointed to learn that the workers are not paid a living wage. It's disheartening to see a restaurant that prides itself on "Japanese authenticity" succumb to greed and exploiting its workers in this way. I expect better from a business that claims to uphold traditional Japanese values. As an authentic Japanese restaurant, stick to your traditional values and pay your employees what they deserve! Shame on the owners of this establishment!

One of my favorite restaurants, I try to make it out every week or two. Staff and owner are very friendly and the food is delicious every time. One of our favorite dishes is the pork fried rice, it is absolutely delicious and the same can be said about many of the sushi rolls we’ve tried.

We ordered Fried Noodle/Beef and Udon/Shrimp. We liked fried noodle better than udon soup. There was no complimentary Miso soup served as the appetizer (as many Japanese restaurants in the area do)
The service is disappointedly bad. There is no welcoming or greeting. Our servant did not smile and rushed us by taking empty dishes and bringing the check while we were still eating !!
Unfortunately, there was no fabric napkins at the tables and all provided was one piece of regular napkin :(
We were only a two person party, everything was great. We went to pay and I gave a $12 tip, the lady proceeded to give it back saying it’s too little and I have to follow their guide which was 18% tip or above. I didn’t know tipping was mandatory.
